25.01.2022 Our little Master E's birthday is tomorrow so we celebrated a day early with a day care party! Happy Birthday!

24.01.2022 Today we went with our friends from Bromley Retreat Family Daycare to visit Swan Valley Station. On Thursday's they have free face painting and balloon twisting. We were very excited to go and check it all out. We love visiting local small businesses! It was lots of fun. They have a huge play ground, animals, a cafe, lots of open space as well as a garden centre. We had a fabulous morning exploring with our friends. We were just missing our little friend Miss A.

24.01.2022 Today we went to visit our friends at Hannah's FDC! It is so great to be getting back out and about with our friends... almost feels normal! Thanks for having us Hannah!

21.01.2022 Spring is here! Just how gorgeous is the weather. Today we thought we better get our little silkworm eggs out of the fridge and see if we can hatch them. We read a book about silkworms, looked at our eggs under a microscope and through our hand held magnifiers... then went out into the paddock to pick leaves for the babies! We discovered our tree is covered in big juicy mulberries so we filled our bellies while we were out there! So yummy!!!!! We also bumped into Tammy who had a little lizard! We gave Tammy big birthday cuddles and then she helped us pick lots more mulberries!

20.01.2022 Today we had our friends from Harwinn Family Day Care come for a visit! With the weather being a bit wet we spent the morning racing around the under cover area on all our scooters and ride ons! Lots of our friends were very brave and attempted to go up and down our ramp!

20.01.2022 Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators Day with our friends from Harwinn Family Day Care. We spent the morning playing in the sunshine. We also enjoyed a balloon dance party before our party lunch and our delicious cakes made by our wonderful friend Lauren. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special. We are truly blessed. 19.01.2022 Omg!!! I love my job! I love that I can go and see our little Master E get his very first Merit Certificate and all our little friends get to come and watch! Master S rocked out to the Jump Jam performance. Everyone was so good. Thank you to my super helper Lauren for making it all possible.

16.01.2022 This morning we ventured out with our friends from Bromley Retreat Family Daycare. We went to our local park for a play and a picnic lunch! The weather was glorious. We had such an awesome time with our friends.

16.01.2022 Friday Fun! We ended our week with another STEM experience. Today we investigated salt water verses fresh water using an egg float test. We began by reading through our experiments instructions, talking through our predictions and making our hypothesis. We tested the fresh water first... unfortunately our egg floated... it was supposed to sink so we got a new egg and tried again... it sank!! Then we took turns to add salt to our 2nd jar of water and egg. We gave it a stir and after 4 spoonfuls of salt our egg floated! We talked about why the egg floats in the salt water... then we boiled up our eggs and ate them!!

13.01.2022 It is Science Week!!! This year Science weeks theme is Deep Blue: Innovations for the Future of Our Oceans. Today we read some Marine themed fiction and non fiction texts, watched some You Tube videos about sharks and whales, set up a marine themed small world tray and then finished off with some craft... we each made our own octopus! We asked lots of questions and learnt so much about sea creatures.

13.01.2022 So many special birthdays to celebrate today! Happy Birthday Miss A and Miss L. We celebrated by making pink grapefruit play dough and had some yummy cake made by Miss As mummy.

12.01.2022 Today we had a special visit from some new friends. We had Caroline and her friends come for a play! We showed our new friends all around our FDC. We even took them out into the paddock to pick some mandarins! Thank you for visiting Caz!!!

12.01.2022 We took advantage of the last of the good weather today and went to our local park! We had an awesome morning climbing, running and exploring!

12.01.2022 Science Week! Today we explored our small world tray we made yesterday and read a story about the life cycle of sea horses and a story called "Hooray for Fish!" We then set up our tough tray outside and popped in some ice blocks with sharks frozen inside. We then experimented with ways to set the sharks free!!! Smashing the ice blocks was the fasted way and Master S was the first to work this out.

07.01.2022 Our friends from Bromley Retreat Family Daycare came for a play today! We spent the day playing in the sunshine then before lunch we did a big group experiment. Our friends are learning their colours at the moment so we went off topic with today's experiment and did the Skittles Rainbow experiment. We did it 3 times... first with warm water, then cold milk and lastly warm milk! We hypothesized before each experiment and discussed our results. We decided warm water made the best rainbow!!!

06.01.2022 This week is my favourite week of the year!!!! It is National Science Week! Can't wait to explore all our STEM planned experiences with all my favourite little people!

05.01.2022 Faction Carnival Day!! Go Argyle Go!!! We had a fabulous morning cheering on our big schoolies at their faction carnival today! Thank you to Lauren and everyone who gave us a helping hand!

03.01.2022 It is crazy hair day at the schoolies school today! We couldn't let the big kids have all the fun so we had a crazy hair day at day care with our friends from Bromley Retreat Family Daycare! We had a parade, got certificates, did some face painting and enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch outside! We had so much fun with our friends.

01.01.2022 Today we all took turns to make yummy pizza scrolls for lunch! While they were cooking we raced around the backyard on all our ride ons and scooters! Our pizzas scrolls were delicious!

01.01.2022 Pirate Park!!! Today we ventured out to meet some new friends at the Pirate Park. We love this park! It was so great to meet new FDC friends as well. Thank you Letitia for our play date today!
