23.01.2022 Dear valued customers, We hope you are well and staying safe. At this moment life is so tough for all of us. Today, we write to advise you all that we have extended our operating times for takeaway. Six weeks of stage 4 restrictions means we need to maintain a high standard of quality and service with our food during this time. Unfortunately, this can not be achieved with home delivery. We prepare fresh food with fresh ingredients and therefore we cannot rely on third partie...s with delivering to your home. Your cooperation in picking up your delivery will greatly assist. We will still be open for 4 days a week from Thursday to Sunday for pick up but we will commence earlier from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. If you do not want to get out of your car when you arrive for pickup just call James or Oanh’s mobile number provided below for one of us to bring the order to your car. 22.01.2022 Dear valued customers, Today, we write to tell you that we really need your support. As you know, Little Vietnam 504 and Passion Nails & Waxing are run by us three sisters and have been severely affected by the Covid 19 restrictions. Government support is limited for partnerships thus only one sister is eligible to receive the job keeper payment. Furthermore, we operate both businesses under one ABN resulting in only one government business support payment. We still have two ...rents to pay. Initially, when Covid 19 was announced in February, business for both shops began to decline sharply. Panic had set in for some customers and eventually for us. We all were preparing for lockdown. We closed both businesses for the whole duration not knowing what to expect. This was all new to our community. Both businesses reopened on the first of June with restrictions. To cooperate with government guidelines, we could not have more than 20 patrons at one time. We three sisters completed Covid 19 courses to better prepare ourselves with managing Covid 19. During this time, our operating income fell by an average of 70%. After the lockdown had ceased people were still afraid to go out. We urged our faithful customers to ask their friends and family to come and support us. In the 5.5 weeks since we reopened, slowly patronage increased only to have an announcement by the government at 3.15p.m on 07/7/2020 that Melbourne Metropolitan will be again lockdown for at least another 6 weeks. After the announcement, all of us were in shock and totally disappointed, as to how will our finances cope with all this. Restaurants are allowed to open for takeaway. We will give it a try and hopefully with your help we will cover expenses for the next 6 weeks. We will open for 4 days a week from Thursday to Sunday for pick up. The food will be exactly the same as sitting in to eat. We prepare fresh food with fresh ingredients and therefore we cannot trust third parties with delivering to your home. 12.01.2022 Dear valued customers, Tonight Sunday 12 of July 2020, we write to all of you with a heavy heart!!! Firstly, from bottom of our heart we will remember how people in Hampton and Bayside love us and care about us so much. When we posted our story on the Little Vietnam 504 Facebook, it was read and shared with people tagging their friends and family. After all you people left so many heartfelt comments showing your support, it gave us the emotional strength required to continue ...to give the best food and service, you have become accustomed to. We always place ourselves in your position being the reason why we try from the bottom of our heart to keep you all happy. Furthermore, we all apologise to our supporters that were affected by the long delay experienced with their takeaway tonight. We have been opened 4 days for takeaway, Thursday and Friday were rather slow, while Saturday got busier. Well, Sunday was overwhelming. This was not expected and we were caught under prepared. In our 6 years of operation this is the first time and hopefully the last time this occurs. For those we unintentionally upset with the wait we sincerely apologise and for those that were not upset, again apologise for the wait. We hope you have a great week.
