25.01.2022 I created this concept for an enamel pin based on The Breakfast Club so long ago that it ended up in my forgot about that pile. I still really like it and think Ill end up rounding out the set with a couple of other BC inspired pins. What do yall think?

22.01.2022 Im late to the party, which is quite ironic because Im never late to anything. Im the person who is notoriously early and often sitting in the car once Ive parked just waiting for the acceptable time to appear [as if I had immpecable timing and wasnt waiting in the car for 20 minutes]. Hubby said to me the other day 5 minutes late is still on time and I almost choked at the notion. 5 minutes late is late. Its there in the very phrase - 5 minutes l.a.t.e. but it sh...ows how he compliments me. How he helps try to reign me in when I tend to overthink and get flustered. Hes the solid, calm pillar of this family and I will forever be grateful that he chose me to spend his life with and bring our kidlets into the world. Being a Dad has given you a whole new side to yourself that Ive fallen in love with more. Watching you teach our kids makes my heart so full and when they run for you when you get in the door makes me light up knowing they adore you so much. Thanks for being their Minecraft pal and thanks for being my 10/10. See more

21.01.2022 Hows this for a portrait? I originally illustrated [a cropped version of] this photo for the gorgeous @sarah_w_bask because I simply just adored the image. It wasnt a commissioned piece, it was just something I felt compelled to do. This photo was done as a little photo shoot for @spiltmilkbar and to my surprise, they saw it and contacted me to see if I help make it supersized [umm yes. The answer was yes]. ... This illustration has been printed and installed in their shop and Im tempted to drive 3.5hrs for some ice cream to go see it You just never know where some things will lead. Lean in to the niggle. Drawing this portrait for the hell of it lead me to being able to do expand on it and create this amazing artwork and Im so grateful they love it

A tee I tend not to wear when Im out with the kids, but if Im out solo (or even around the house - the kids cant read!) then its a favourite and everyone always asks where I got it. Confetti Rebels is the maker of this (and many other) amazing tees and it looks even better in real life, though if you ask me it looks pretty good illustrated too

19.01.2022 Oh, baby girl. You are growing too fast. Time is fleeting. Memories are one thing. Visual memories are everything. I love capturing life in images. Its part of the reason I started LA [Little Aggie]. I love sitting down with my children and telling them the stories of my youth and hope they will one day do the same with their kid/s (however Nelle tells me shes not having kids unless she marries a girl who can have them for her, because she doesnt want it to hurt her].... It reminds me that I need to continue to capture MY life, not just my kids. I still have a story to tell and its funny how quickly we disappear from the frame. See more

Such a great cast. So the right decade for it. Definitely included in a ‘favourite movie list’ for me. It might be time for a viewing again.

17.01.2022 Yknow, Ill share with you part of the conversation I had with my GP just last week. The GP asked me if I had a support network to turn to, which I replied that I dont like to burden people with my problems or seem like Im constantly being negative discussing my anxiety. She asked me if any of my friends had asked me to stop talking about it. Had any of my friends indicated it was a problem. To which I replied: well, no. Its so easy to want to keep everything bottled... up in fear of putting people off or being seen as the negative Nancy, but your people are there for you. No one can help you if you dont reach out and discussing your thoughts and feelings openly really helps. Really. Im all for being open about this every day, but its nice that mental health has been recognised and that we have this day to remind those that might need the little nudge. 16.01.2022 I say it all the time, but I truly mean it, guys! When you allow me to create this work that captures such amazing memories, well, I'm tickled pink. It makes my heart go a little gooey and I'm wrapped up in the love. 2020 has been a bit of a shitshow, but it hasn't stopped the connection between people. Is it possible that it's actually made those connections deeper?

15.01.2022 Can I get an AMEN?! An amen to that kinda anxiety that holds you back. The anxiety that isnt just a weird feeling. Its the nauseating, need-to-visit-a-bathroom kinda anxiety. Its the anxiety that can either keep you awake all night or send you to sleep in tears so consumed by worry.... The anxiety that makes you second guess every decision youre making and place doubt deep in your gut. The anxiety that sits on your shoulder telling you youre not good enough or worthy of anything good in life. To that anxiety, I say F*CK YOU. 12.01.2022 Energy flows where energy flows. I'm feeling a lot of stagnant energy around my business and feel like it's time to clear out what's blocking that - my stock on hand. 11.01.2022 Dont be alarmed. This was a good 15 years ago and those sunglasses, well I have NFI why I thought they looked good. They were my boyfriends and they looked as bad on him as they did on me I also think that was the last time my hair was ever that short. Not sure thatll ever make a return. That gummy smile and double chin is a stayer though [much to my despair]. But that is indeed me, a young wee thing squished between my grandparents and this photo is in my office, fr...amed, because it makes me smile. For those new followers, Aggie is not my name. Yes, I am known as Little Aggie but that came from Agnes, my amazing gran right there. I still get choked up every time I reminisce about her (and my grandad). They were [and still are] every.thing to me. I try my best at this business for me. For my kids. And in the hope that she would be so very proud of me. See more

09.01.2022 All my fellow parents out there. How are you doing? Are you phasing back to school yet? In NSW were doing 1 day a week and although the initial drop at the gate was riddled with separation anxiety [which we had almost eliminated before all this went to shit], its made it harder to school her at home. She gets a small taste of being back with her friends and her teacher one day a week and doesnt think its so great at home and quite frankly doesnt want a bar of it. I love that shes able to see her friends and get that formal learning back and if theres one thing Id gladly pick back up from normal life, its school. She thrives in that environment and shes not fit for learning at home [nor am I. Anyone elses kids cry every time you try and teach them?!]. A good teacher I do not make.

Not action anything in case it has a negative impact. But you know what? What happens if its great? What happens if its completely opposite to how youve run the story in your head? 06.01.2022 I think its fair to say that theres a fair bit of this going on for everybody right now. Just standing at the window staring outside. Who knew when I took this photo 12 months ago how apt it would be, however I have to say Im all all about ISO life. Its not that far a stretch from our everyday, so if anything its just simplified and slowed things down that much more. I have two kids though, so lets be real, that part has certainly been trying BUT given theyve l...ost all routine and their little social lives with school, daycare and family visits, theyve held up really well. Im enjoying the slower pace in the morning of having the time for breakfasts and showers and getting ready well before I need to clock on and start my work day. Not commuting has been a dream. Not doing the daycare dash, back home, getting ready for school, school drop off and mad dash to work...well, its lovely. How are you seeing the positive in this ISO world were living in? Is anyone else a massive rule nerd like me and personally offended when you see people NOT following the rules in place at the moment. God, I get SO mad. See more

And its small, [figuratively and literally] but Im so excited that this di...ary is going to have a ribbon included so you can mark exactly where you are in the year! 04.01.2022 Two things. 1. My desk is not this clean right now. That laptop has been pushed to the left to allow a larger monitor and keyboard prime position, plus I also have the work laptop and mouse on my desk for my WFH hours I put in. So, there is very limited room for even a tea cup right now, but thats not something Id ever give up any space for. There is always room for a tea cup! 2. Being interrupted by little people for cuddles and tickling sessions is still very much a daily thing and although interrupting work, its an interruption Ill gladly take.

03.01.2022 There's just something about enamel pins that I love. I think it's because it's such a subtle way of showing the world a side of your personality. They're tiny pieces of wearable art and when things are mini, it's just always so much more fun. 100% I would love to create more pins for my store, it's just finding that thing that is going to be of interest to people, because I'm trying to run a business afterall and things need to make a profit y'know? 02.01.2022 Its the reaction I love the most. I love making people happy. I love making people smile, and although I cant SEE their smile when they receive their portraits, their words they write to me are infused with smile. And when the whole world is struggling right now, a smile can change a day.

02.01.2022 Sometimes a content rut is a good thing. It forces me to go back through my old work and I'm reminded of all of the amazing families I've had the pleasure of illustrating Moments captured like this one here. It may make you think of a time where you've walked with your kids to or from school, or it may not make you think/feel anything, but for the person/people in the illustration, this moment will bring that memory back and that's what gives me the feels every time I look at a completed piece.

01.01.2022 I want to burst into tears. Happy tears. Proud, fuck you anxiety tears. Ive shown you little concepts here and there but today I did the artwork for the box and it made my eyes a little glassy. It made things real. And then I went and did this 3D mock up which just pushed me over the edge. Because, yknow, it looks profesh!!! ... Needless to say, Ive pushed the green light for 100 decks to be made and Im excited (and ironically trying to push the anxiety to the side). I wanted to back myself and print more but lets not get too ahead of myself Im going to put them up on the website so you can preorder them. Im expecting delivery mid-end of May, all going to plan and it would be freaking fabulous if you wanted one! 01.01.2022 I did my first @sophiecachia_ portrait back in 2018 [which I LOVED] and last night out of nowhere I decided it might be time to do another. My style and technique has evolved, and I think its fair to say shes evolved as well. I admire this woman in so many ways. Shes tough, but soft. Shes strong, but feminine. Shes mum. Shes human. Its a brave thing to live your life in the public eye and [even as a non-public person myself] sometimes its just nice to hear that people appreciate you. I cant imagine the amount of hatred public figures must attract and the energy that is attached to it, so if I can put my little light of energy out there and say hey, I think youre fucking awesome, then thats what Ill do.
