25.01.2022 CLAY CREATING FUN Yesterday Joanne showed our clay artist a cool way of creating with clay. Their mini sculptures tell a little story and boy was it fun making them! I love how each artist has created their own water lily version. Thanks to art teacher Jo for guiding the artists through a fabulous session ... 06.01.2022 STEAM PUNK ROBOT It was so good guiding these artists this morning through our steam punk ‘robot’ but maybe it’s a bird, maybe it’s a plane....it’s up to your imagination to construct and sculpt! I’m a different kind of art teacher. There are no ‘look at me’, ‘follow my example’ artworks because that’s not true art teaching! It’s learning about the processes and techniques needed to make an artwork. ... So.... When you come to @littleartbigart you are learning the important stuff about art creating! As the photos show, there are not two steam punk robots the same here! Nope, because these 5-13 year olds (that was our age range) listened to the technical and process guidance I provided and then launched into their creating!
