24.01.2022 Do you ever wonder whats REALLY going on in the mind of your child? Most parents at school pick up will ask their kids: "How was your day?" Most of the ti...me the kids will just reply: "Fine" But what if we could get a window into their mind to see whats REALLY going on? I get lots of messages from parents telling me about how their children are using their journal as a way of "decongesting" their minds and using it as a way to reflect and express their feelings. How five minutes a day, after reading at bed time, is creating so many conversations that would not have happened without the journal. How questions such as: "Who was kind to you today?" spark off all sorts of fun stories about friends and playground events; and how the circling of a sad face emoji unveils an anxiety about a future event that the parent can then reassure them about. The journal is helping children around the world express their feelings in their own time and in their own way and providing a safe space to reflect on and express their emotions.
