23.01.2022 Today one of our Early Childhood Teachers Aman shared with us a traditional Indian cultural experience by creating a welcoming Rangoli in our foyer. How wonderful it is to share these cultural experiences with all of our families here at LBWB. 'The rangoli represents the happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household, and is intended to welcome wealth and good luck. Rangoli is an art form originating in India, in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop using materials such as powdered lime stone, dry rice flour, coloured sand, quartz powder, flower petals, and coloured rocks.'

23.01.2022 This week was vegetable week - in celebration I have attached some information about children's serves of fruit and vegetables. And because we all know sometimes we might be a little bit fussy with eating our fruits and vegetables I have provided a link to the Good for Kids, Good for Life website which has many yummy and healthy recipes to try with your little one/s! With the weather being not so great outside, maybe you can make this weekend a cooking/baking one. Whilst cooking children practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, simple numeracy skills, sensory exploration, measurement, collaboration and confidence to try new food items.

22.01.2022 What a great night we all had!

10.01.2022 A little update on the furry friend hiding out in our yard... Hunter Wildlife Rescue came to the centre today to rescue the little possum and re-home him somewhere more suitable. Wildlife Ranger Casey even talked the children through the whole rescue and let them have a close up look at the possum! What a great authentic learning experience for our children!
