25.01.2022 It’s been lovely to work with Eurobodalla Shire Council’s very dedicated RSO Kate McDougall to organise HMH signage reminders for St. Bernards Primary School, Bateman’s Bay ! It’s a very busy time at drop off and pick up times around schools SO please ALWAYS REMEMBER TO HOLD HANDS with precious young children aged 10 years and younger as they have limited cognitive abilities around roadways and need adults to help keep them safe ! #HoldMyHand

25.01.2022 To our precious Tom and all the other children who were not with us this Easter... You are never forgotten #AlwaysLoved #ForeverMissed
24.01.2022 LBDF are officially launching our ‘Tom’s Holiday’ book to mark the start of National Road Safety Week 2020 ... To find out more please watch this short video! Thankyou also to our sponsor UPS #NRSW2020 #TomsHolidayBookLaunch #TowardsZero
23.01.2022 #nationalpoliceremembranceday .... Thank you NSWPOL and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command - NSW Police Force and all the Police across our country. We have the greatest respect for the Police Force and for the dangerous work they do everyday and their many sacrifices in the line of duty. We will never ever forget how you helped our family the night Tom died and for your willingness to support our child pedestrian signage campaigns that help save little lives around Australia .
23.01.2022 Little Blue Dinosaur Foundation sends all our love and strength to the Sproule family today and always following the tragic loss of their precious and most beautiful little son, Harrison #
22.01.2022 Happy Easter to all our lovely LBDF Supporters .... in times before COVID19 hit us we’d be traditionally posting about keeping your children safe at ‘holiday time’ and when arriving at new destinations. This Easter holidays we are STAYING HOME AND KEEPING SAFE to prevent the transmission of the Coronavirus. However, If you are out and about on your daily exercise break with your children 10 years and under please remember to hold their hands and keep them safe near roadways and driveways as vehicles are still moving about. PLEASE SHARE ....#HappyEaster #ChildPedestrianSafety365
22.01.2022 Happy heavenly birthday to our precious joyful son Tom, who would have been 11 on this day . We miss you so very much everyday but, special days are particularly heartbreaking. Sadly, road trauma took you from us and it is the most common cause of death of children 1-14 years (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare). #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround #ChildPedestrianSafety365
20.01.2022 Thank you for supporting child pedestrian safety Northpoint Shopping Centre ! Children aged 10 years and younger in particular require their hands to be held around roadways and car parks .... we cannot share this important message enough #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround #FatalityFreeFridayMay29 #TakeThePledge
20.01.2022 LBDF hopes that everyone is having an exciting and wonderful time on the school holidays . If you are out and about near roadways + car parks please remember that children aged 10 years and younger are very vulnerable road users. They have slower reflexes and their hearing and peripheral vision is still developing so, please hold their hands as it is just as important as placing a seatbelt on them in a car. #HoldMyHand PLEASE SHARE
20.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful Dad’s today ..... We are also thinking of all the bereaved families who are missing their Dad, Grandad or child today. To my husband, David you are our rock and I’m sure that our Tom is sending you lots love from heaven today. If you’re driving on our roads visiting family today please be sure to take care. #HappyFathersDay2020 #DriveSoOthersSurvive #SlowDownKidsAround
20.01.2022 A huge thank you to Penrith City Council for working so hard on our signage launch in your LGA. LBDF loved visiting you!! It was truly terrific to work with such a collaborative and highly motivated inspirational team. Special thanks to Mayor McKeown and the amazing Wendy Read PCC Road Safety Officer who are both so passionate about child pedestrian safety. #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround
19.01.2022 A reminder from NSW Road Safety - NSW GOV #TowardsZero #AvoidNonEssentialTravel
18.01.2022 Special thoughts and much love to all the Mum’s today especially those who are missing a precious child or their Mum if they’ve passed away. Days such as these, although still celebrated can have moments that cause pain due to the loss of someone we adored. Never a day passes that I do not reflect on memories of my Tom and how greatly I miss him . If you are out on the road today or taking a walk with your precious little ones 10 years and under.......PLEASE go carefully.#HappyMothersDay2020 #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround #DriveSoOthersSurvive
16.01.2022 Incredibly sad news today .... LBDF sending love and strength to all those involved in this tragic incident. It only takes a microsecond for a fatal accident involving children and motor vehicles. It is highly traumatic and beyond heartbreaking. #RoadSafetyAwareness
14.01.2022 #PedestrianSafety .... Are you aware of the survival rates of pedestrians in relation to the speed at which they are hit? Every road user should be aware of this important information . Thank you for sharing NSW Road Safety - NSW GOV.
14.01.2022 We’re on a family holiday in Canberra at the moment ...And here’s a classic example of how roads can ‘look’ different to what kids are used to seeing at home. Take note of your new surroundings and make sure the kids are aware of the ‘roadway differences’ too. It can be confusing in new places! Happy holidays LBDF supporters - Keep Safe #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround
14.01.2022 PLEASE READ the story of beautiful little Elle Underhill who tragically died at age 4 years in Casino NSW at Christmas time in 2015. Her brave Mum, Michelle and I have come to know each other well because of our work promoting road safety awareness. Michelle is sharing her story as part of the Australian Road Safety Foundation (ARSF) Rural Road Safety Week 2020 which has just launched. ARSF released recent survey results in which 78% of Australian drivers admitted to risky driving behaviours with 1 in 5 saying they are more likely to break a road rule in rural areas. Sending all our love to the Underhill family and THANK YOU for courageously sharing your personal story so we may be more mindful of our actions when we are behind the wheel so others can survive. #rrsw2020 #ChooseRoadSafety #LiveThePledge
13.01.2022 It is a great honour to receive this wonderful message of support from Prime Minister Morrison during National Road Safety Week 2020 upon the official launch of our Tom’s Holiday book and for the road safety initiatives of LBDF
12.01.2022 HAPPY HOLIDAY TIME to all our lovely LBDF Facebook friends .... Holiday time is such a fun, exciting time but it’s SO VERY IMPORTANT that we REMEMBER our ROAD SAFETY at this time when there are more precious children out and about! PLEASE SHARE! #SlowDownKidsAround #HoldMyHand
10.01.2022 Thank you so much to one of our incredibly lovely long time LBDF Facebook supporters Monica McColl for finding this cute blue dinosaur face mask for me .... I just love it so much! I’m forever grateful over the heartbreaking years since we lost Tom for the really kind and genuine support, interest in the work of LBDF and encouraging comments from everyone. I’m sure many of you will agree if you’ve lost precious loved ones in your family that it’s vitally important for your mental health to stay connected with others, feel a purpose in life and know you are supported. 2020 sure has had huge challenges ... Stay COVID Safe everyone #GratefulForSupport #AppreciateKindness #KeepPositive #LittleThingsMatter
10.01.2022 Holiday roadways at Charlotte Pass NSW... Whilst having a family holiday or mini break it is still extremely important to point out critical differences in roadway environments to children and be sure that they understand that vehicles travel in all settings. Of course no visible typical looking roadways in the snow! #HolidayTimeRoadSafety365 #RoadsafetyConversationsWithKids
10.01.2022 On ANZAC DAY we remember all those incredibly courageous men and women who lost their lives defending our freedom . As a bereaved parent, I also reflect on how very difficult it would have for many families during war times who lost beloved children and siblings. Due to COVID19 it is certainly going to be a different ANZAC Day but, nonetheless we will honour our heroes together and the sacrifice they made for our freedom ...#ANZACDAY2020 #LestWeForget
10.01.2022 LBDF are so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of little Anna . We send all our love and strength to the Seagren family. The loss of little children is utterly devastating to families, friends and communities. Sadly, road trauma or ‘land transport accidents’ remains the most common cause of death of children aged 1-14 years (Australian Institute of Health & Welfare). #ChildPedestrianSafety365
09.01.2022 Central Coast Council was our very first LGA partner in November 2014 .... They have always been so supportive and collaborative in relation to LBDF signage campaigns and are very dedicated to keeping precious child pedestrians safe. 64 more hold my hand signs were sent up last week for placement at parks . A very special shout out and thanks to the amazing and incredibly diligent CCC Road Safety Officer, Kate Keogh who is always a pleasure to work with! #HoldMyHand #ChildPedestrianSafety
08.01.2022 May 29, 2020 marks Fatality Free Friday. This year there is a special focus on child road safety. Did you know that the biggest killer of kids aged 1-14 years is road trauma.... It is an incredibly sad fact that we need to be aware of to help prevent our children being seriously hurt or killed. Our Tom and some other precious little children make a little appearance in this Australian Road Safety Foundation video #TakeThePledge #ChooseRoadSafety
07.01.2022 Thank you for passionately advocating for child pedestrian safety Fiona Martin MP . Our children are precious and irreplaceable. #SlowDownKidsAround

So, If you are out and about REMEMBER children 10 years and younger have limited cognitive abilities around roadway and very much need the active supervision of adult carers. #HoldMyHand #SlowDownKidsAround
02.01.2022 #ChooseRoadSafety #LittleBlueDinosaurStory #ChildPedestrianSafety ....
