25.01.2022 This week’s @52frames photo challenge theme: warm. It’s winter in Melbourne and I’m dreaming of summer.

25.01.2022 Melbourne has been in some stage of lockdown since March. Restrictions are easing, we’ve had zero cases for 20 + days, the city is coming alive again and most importantly road trips are back on the map! Last week Black Spur Road was a thing of beauty! Happy exploring Melbournians!

25.01.2022 This week’s photo challenge theme: The Dark Side. My take on the theme was having a little girl lost outside cuddling her teddy bear for comfort.

25.01.2022 This week’s photo challenge theme: texture. Orangutan fur!

25.01.2022 This weeks @52frames weekly photo challenge theme: nature. Who doesn’t like an Easter egg hunt at the beach?!

25.01.2022 Hope your Monday is as sweet as this dessert from Coles.

25.01.2022 This weeks photo challenge theme: the blue hour. The hour just after sunset. Where I am, it’s the most gorgeous time for portraits on the beach.

24.01.2022 This weeks 52 frames weekly photo challenge theme is: portrait of a stranger. Thanks to Joel the tattoo artist from Chapel Tattoo for letting me take photos while he was tattooing Martina.

24.01.2022 This week’s @52frames photo challenge theme: water.

24.01.2022 This is my alternative photo for 52 frames weekly photo challenge theme portrait of a stranger. I didn’t think I had the courage to go up to a stranger so I treated my workmates to fro yo and took their photo thinking how well do we really know our workmates. I felt guilty about this and ended up getting a portrait of a stranger which I’ll post soon.

23.01.2022 Sunday’s are for baking (even if it’s a box mix) Betty Crocker Australia & New Zealand cinnamon crumble muffin mix.

23.01.2022 Free as a bird on a Sunday.

23.01.2022 This weeks photography challenge was: details. Walking to the tram station something caught my eye, a graffiti covered door on an old house. The door had a small hole in it that caught my eye and I had to go and peek through it. The house is being torn down inside. How many people walk past this house and miss the small detail of the hole in the door?

22.01.2022 Had a great day seeing the awesome band Whiskey Dram playing on the Sea Shepard boat in Williamstown.

21.01.2022 It’ been awhile since my last post, so It’s about time I started posting again. Iconic Brighton Beach, not a bad view.

19.01.2022 Can you tell Olive (Holly Shewring and Rob Grimwood) has missed our photo sessions? Here’s her working the camera in 5 minutes.

17.01.2022 52 frames weekly photo challenge theme of ‘blur’.

17.01.2022 Had so many laughs with this week’s 52 frames weekly photo challenge theme of fast shutter speed. 2 chances to get the shot. Chosen photo shows the balloon had to be ripped with hands to break open. Not even a needle would pop it and then resorting to last chance of confetti in the air. Thank you Rozzie J Hammond for being the legend you are and joining me in my silly photography adventures.

17.01.2022 How cute is this baby kookaburra! Had about 2 min to take this photo before momma kookaburra lost her patience with me.

17.01.2022 Here’s to another year of weekly photo challenges! Week 1: self portrait. Last year I had my hair in rollers shoving cake into my face. This year I aimed for a vintage shot at the local flying field reading a 1953 magazine that my mom is featured in.

17.01.2022 52 frames weekly photo challenge theme: song lyric. I chose the Irish classic: Whack for my daddy, oh Whack for my daddy, oh There's whiskey in the jar, oh... Thanks Roz for being my homeless model this week!

16.01.2022 Sunset on South Beach with Holly and Olive.

16.01.2022 They say never work with animals. How could you say no to these three little cuties. This weeks photo challenge theme: rule of odds. Taking a photo with an odd number in it.

16.01.2022 This week’s photo challenge theme was: transportation. Walking is my fave mode of transport! And I couldn’t help take a photo of what was in someone’s bike basket too.

16.01.2022 52 frames weekly photo challenge: stairs. Black and white photo was my submission, the color shot was an alternate.

15.01.2022 Simon and Steph are heading back to their European homeland and wanted to capture some last Perth memories at the infamous Blue Boatshed. What a cute couple they are, loved up with laughter and lots of fun! Perth is going to miss these two!

12.01.2022 This weeks @52frames weekly photo challenge theme of: you world. Flew in to visit my parents (my world) and had no problem convincing my 83 yr old dad to pose as a flat lay for me surrounded by his art (his world). Getting up off the garage floor was another story! Piperdog Design

12.01.2022 Believe it or not, I’ve never had a coffee. Market Lane Coffee makes it pretty tempting to try one.

12.01.2022 Weekly photo challenge theme: orange. Sounds easy, but I found it a struggle this week even though I had a brilliant orange table. Which is your fave?

12.01.2022 When thousands of star fish appear at the beach and you just happen to have your camera.

11.01.2022 This week’s photo challenge them was: distortion. If you wanted to push the envelope you could try a technique called lens whacking which is where you physically remove the lens from your camera. The result is a soft dreamy effect with parts of the photo in focus. It’s a tricky technique, but I had a lot of fun experimenting.

10.01.2022 Well earned drinks after a photography afternoon in the city!

08.01.2022 This week’s photo challenge theme was blessings. Our lives can change in an instant and anything can happen to us. I pass this homeless man most week days and asked if I could invade his space and take a photo. I’m guessing the coins would be a blessing for him. What are you thankful for?

08.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy Easter!

08.01.2022 It’s headshot time and Rozzie J Hammond made my job easy! How gorgeous is this little lady! What a fun day we had in search of the perfect backdrop while chasing light in the CBD.
