22.01.2022 Hey #littlecolliesfam it looks like we'll be able to meet for 1 final week of Little Collies next week December 2nd this will either be on site at St Columba's hall or at the Yorketown Playground. Pencil this in your diary & we'll check back in early next week with the location have a great week!

22.01.2022 due to the recent spike with Covid-19 in Adelaide, we have made the hard call to postpone #littlecollies for the next 2 weeks & hopefully we can meet in week 8 for our last little collies of the year. 22.01.2022 Thousands of South Australian families are in strict lockdown for the next few days. I myself was going to be performing at a number of schools this week and ne...xt. That probably can’t happen now, so I thought I would bring the concert to you all, from my home to yours! Join me tomorrow at 2pm SA time for a Facebook Live little lockdown gig. I hope to see you there! p.s those in other states are welcome too :)

21.01.2022 Local Speech Pathologist, Amy Honner, will be presenting ‘Calm, Confident Communicators’. These sessions will cover themes of parent wellbeing, child-parent relationships, sensory and emotional regulation and supporting social and emotional learning (SEL) at home. The sessions align with our SEL curriculum at SCMS. We are lucky enough to have Amy present 3 times, including during Little Collies so that parents with younger children are able to attend while their children play (and our Little Collies families are also very welcome to come along). While RSVP’s are not essential, we would appreciate if you could let the school know if you plan to attend for refreshment purposes. These sessions are made possible by Parents in Education funding, through the Federation of Catholic School Parent Communities, and we thank them for their support.

18.01.2022 Here at Little Collies we aim to provide a fun and safe environment for your child/children to play and learn. We have 3 staff members on a Wednesday morning - Gabi, Erin and Grace - who try to keep an eye on all children. But we don’t always see the interactions between the little ones. We understand that at times the development of children emphasises different behaviour and characteristics like snatching, not sharing, pulling and pushing. We have a ‘safe hands’ policy at St Columba’s - we ask parents in this regard to respect other people’s children. We kindly ask that parents make sure they keep a close eye on their little ones whilst enjoying a hot coffee. This will allow our staff to help and supervise with crafts, painting and other activities.
