25.01.2022 After our premier @danielandrewsmp yesterday advised that masks might feature as a critical part of our road to recovery, we decided to reactivate our sale so that those that need masks can now purchase them at 20% off. 23.01.2022 Masks - we avoided them for so long but now our state has made them mandatory we have put our sewing skills to good use and have made a small number of masks for both adults and kids. All of our masks include a filter pocket for a third layer as recommended by the Victorian DHHS and a nose wire in the adult masks. Find them online now with some breathable interfacing filters. Dont see a style you love? We will be adding more styles throughout the week so keep checking back.

14.01.2022 One of the most beautiful things to come out of this strange time is the global sharing of experience. There has never been, at least in our lifetime, an experience like this which is being shared on a global scale. Much of the developed world has been in some form of lockdown with no certain end date. As a global community we are all feeling the uncertainty of our future, as social creatures we are all feeling the walls closing in, the loneliness. But what I will remember the most is the teddy bears and rainbows. The connecting of children all across the globe with beautiful symbols of comfort and hope.

13.01.2022 Sometimes we walk past a roll of fabric and it just jumps out at us. This was one of those fabrics for us and when I saw it I just knew it had to be made into bloomers! We have honestly been blown away by the steady stream of support as we thought we were in for a long period of nothingness. While it isnt close to what it was, it is something. Small business cannot survive without support during this time so if you made the decision to purchase from us over a larger store, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

05.01.2022 To say we were excited when SBS got in touch with us about our mask making is an understatement. For the last three weeks we have been working well into the night to meet the demand for bright and colourful reusable masks. We are so grateful to our community for choosing a more eco friendly option and for supporting a locally made product.

01.01.2022 To be honest Im not sure how I feel about masks... I understand they are necessary at this point in time but as a mother I find them intimidating for my children. So it got me thinking, maybe if we took a moment to consider how we message this to our children, maybe we can make it less so. For example, we can choose the narrative. We are being superheroes fighting against a super virus and the best defence we have at the moment is to wear a mask (BTN on ABC iview) ...have some great videos to help with this). And as parents we could choose to wear a less medical looking mask, or a less intimidating colour (hello colourful prints and patterns ) and if our kids want to get involved and do their bit by wearing a mask, why not let them. They can be superheroes too. This is why we have chosen fun, colourful prints for our kids masks. Masks are not about fashion but they can make a statement. You might as well make it a fun one.
