15.01.2022 This week I have set up 5 art tables with various materials to be explored freely at each space. This gorgeous portrait was a creation from the watercolour dyes table. No drawing up first, no input from myself, just straight in with brush and dye. This student has been in art class for a number of years now and it is so gratifying to see such independent creative confidence. #teachingforartisticbehavior #choicebasedart #teachingforcreativebehaviour #teachingforindependence

Digital art component using Procreate artmaking app and apple pencil on an iPad.
