25.01.2022 When we were low on feed I let the alpacas graze in with the cows...they are all so happy together now that they remain together. It was a funny thing, I was worried the cows would head butt the alpacas or push them, animals are much wiser than us. 15.01.2022 Living in Northern NSW my favourite time of the year is winter, blue sky days, crisp cold nights and winter beach walks And PEAS!!! Isn’t this the most beautiful flower? Peas never make it into my kitchen, picked fresh and munch/crunched after a days work, they are super sweet.. mandarins in the background are nearly ready for picking, one more cold night!

08.01.2022 Farm life is so wonderfully unpredictable...heading into town today for a few bits and bobs when the neighbour calls to tell me her first cow of the season is in calf...wow, I need to see this as my girls are due soon. Hmmmm, that’s when things got interesting!! calf born breathing calf fell off a steep bank into a waterhole rescued...then mum walked it thru a creek and calf got caught in the mud rescued again!! Although there isn’t much food in the paddocks, I’m really happy with how healthy Ivan and Rodrigo are under all their fleece.
