09.01.2022 **CURRENT CLIENTS** I have sent an email out this morning but a few have bounced back so wanted to share here; I wanted to touch base regarding your photography session. I don’t even know where to start to be honest..... I have had a few of you contact me regarding sessions late October and wanting confirmation that they will still be going ahead, due to Dan Andrews possibly relaxing restrictions. In all honesty, I don’t have an answer yet, which breaks my heart as this feels like it has been going on for way too long. With regional (I am considered metro) opening up a little bit. A lot of photographers have been given the ok to start work by the Business VIC, DHHS and local government, but some have been given the firm NO they cannot open up or even photograph clients outdoors unless they have a mask on. HOW CRAZY is that! (see photo attached) The photography industry is considered a grey area and a lot of mix information going around. Some regional photographers have gone back to work photographing outdoors and in their studio but do risk the very expensive fine not only for their business but also for their clients. So where does that leave us in metro? I really have no idea. We as photographers are seeking straight forward answers which we are not getting. So in saying the above, don’t panic. You will not miss out on a session! When the time does come when YES we have been given the green light, I will be contacting each and everyone of you in the order that you have been booked to organise a date. I have not taken any bookings for 2021 yet, even though there is a HUGE waiting list. I want to make you guys my greatest priority in getting you in for your photos. So please don’t feel like I have forgotten about you, even though we as photographers are feeling very left out and forgotten about. But we are trying our best as a community to push this forward. I will be in touch, when I have good news. Fingers and toes crossed it is sooner rather than later. xx
