22.01.2022 Chickenpox is around so can we please remind people NOT to give your children nurofen/ibuprofen if you think your child has it This type of medicine is an anti-...inflammatory, it reacts with chicken pox making them go deeper into the skin tissue will also make your child very very ill! We recommend you - Use Paracetamol (Panadol) for fever - Calamine Lotion for the spots - Keep your child hydrated - In children over 2 years old an antihistamine can be beneficial for the itch. - In certain circumstances your doctor may advice differently if the benefit of using ibuprofen outweighs the risk

21.01.2022 A trip to the supermarket brought some snacks and treats for the dogs home

21.01.2022 We were incredibly lucky to be gifted this beautiful piece of artwork by the amazingly talented Amanda Kunta. We have decided that once Kelli-Ann returns home from her family holiday in early February we will have a little fundraiser to donate money to one of the charities helping our koalas that have been impacted by the horrendous bushfires. We have yet to research, so are open to any suggestions on any such charity/foundation. We will decide with our little folk which charity they would like to help. Please keep an eye on our page if youd like to make a donation

20.01.2022 We visited the park in East Devonport today...so much fun!

20.01.2022 Over the next fortnight Little Folk and DPECS are collecting donations for the Devonport Dogs Home as a part of engaging with the local community and as part of the evolving program. They are looking for the following; polarfleece blankets, dog treats, dog toys or wet dog food. If you would like to donate any of the mentioned items please feel free too

20.01.2022 A visit to the Devonport Dogs Home today to deliver some goodies that our families kindly donated. We were lucky enough to enjoy a small walk around and meet some beautiful dogs. Pictured is Jina, who will be available for adoption shortly. She was certainly a beauty and would make a great addition to a family

It has been shared on Facebook so you may have already seen it. They have since updated their information and I have posted the latest update and deleted the last post. We both have vulnerable people living in our households, currently we are still operating as normal. ... *** B U T *** This is a day to day decision depending on how the situation evolves. If your child is showing any of these symptoms whilst in care we will ask you to pick up your child immediately. If we cant reach you, we will then try your emergency contacts.
