25.01.2022 Friends we want to reassure you that we are following all government advice and guidelines and have plenty of space to maintain safe physical distancing tonight. Numbers are capped in every area and we're lucky to have a lot of outdoor space. We’ll have security on the door helping everyone check in. Make sure you wash hands regularly and social-distance. Masks are back for when you’re moving around the venue not eating or drinking. The great thing about bookings or a tickete...d event is that we know who and how many to expect so can arrange the space accordingly and allocate tables. We’ve got room for 140 across the entire venue but are capping at 110 to be extra sure. Ticket sales are currently at 100. There’s QR codes on every table for contactless ordering. We have two DJ stations - one inside and one outside in the popup so you can spread out and still hear great tunes. Tomorrow before the event we'll be allocating tables to groups so if you've got friends who want to come but haven't bought their tickets yet, tell them to put the name you booked under in the notes field of their booking. You don't have to stay glued to your table all night - it just means you've got a guaranteed home base when you arrive. 11.01.2022 Our permitted numbers inside are up to 40 which is fantastic! Still seated table service, and masks when you're walking around. We're going to keep our booking numbers at 20 so half the seats are up for grabs for walk-ins. Also there's no bookings at all after the 7.30pm slot as usual. So if you've missed out the last two weeks you've got a much better shot of getting in this weekend! It's been going well and everyone seems to be loving the food and more chilled vibe, and ha...ve been patient with a few small teething issues. 02.01.2022 Littlefoot Next Door is a lifesaver and so damn purty and comfortable, and people are loving it so we couldn’t be happier. Was waiting for the perfect pics to do thank you’s but it was taking too long so... Our roll call of gratitude starts with City of Maribyrnong (and a special mention to the low key visionary Paul Shea) - thank you so much for saying yes in a year that just seemed to be saying no. Thank you to the very awesome Middy's Electrical who helped us hugely with ...our desire to save money and the environment by donating cable reels and packing crates to build our stools, fencing and tables. Thank you to the Footscray Hockey Club for the turf which transformed the space from pretty great to downright awesome - your resurfacing couldn’t have happened at a better time! And thank you to the tractor guy, those rolls were very heavy! Thank you Monte for the umbrellas and extra chairs. Thank you to the indefatigable Danni Holdsworth whose willingness to give her time and labour and experience with setting up festivals and staging meant the world to us. Thank you to our staff for suddenly having to manage a whole new section with all the complications that involves.
