21.01.2022 GIANNA’S STORY // We were lucky enough to have Gianna’s beautiful mum Catherine @chocbinks78 reach out and tell us about Gianna’s story, we spoke about her learning journeys including her strengths, interests and challenges. We worked together and ended up creating her own personalised pre writing book to gain more interest in practicing letters, numbers and shapes. ... Having a small insight into Gianna and Catherine’s life brought us so much joy and gave us that tear jerk moment that our boxes help support all children’s learning and development as well as connect us with families across the nation A message from Catherine that she allowed us to share: We can’t say a big enough thank you for your AMAZING kit and resources for Gianna! Wow! I’ll let the pictures do the the talking! Poor thing wasn’t She well when I took them but the joy & excitement in them is just gorgeous!!! We struggle to keep her entertained and engaged on a task when she’s home. It’s also especially difficult when she’s sick! She played with your beautiful unicorn box for ages over an hour which just blew us away! She also asked to play with it again the next day! 08.01.2022 You ask and we listen! We had a parent fall in love with our boxes and asked us to make it coeliac friendly. Off course we couldn’t say no and try our hardest to cater to each child’s needs ... We substituted our playdough for extra goodies including gelli baff and made sure the environment we packed in was scrubbed down before we started. We used straight from the packet shells and sand to ensure nothing was contaminated and kept the beads dehydrated to ensure the best practice was kept!
