07.01.2022 Rawhide... The word that makes me cringe! It won't be long till pet shops will start having things like this on their shelves!... Raw hide is not a product of the meat industry, it's a product of the leather industry! They bleach and glue raw hide to make these shapes. How It’s Made Producing rawhide begins with the splitting of an animal hide, usually from cattle. The top grain is generally tanned and made into leather products, while the inner portion, in its raw state, goes to the dogs. The Bark It isn't digestible, and can often go stringy meaning it can get stuck down your dogs throat. There are so many alternative chews that are long lasting. -pizzles -hooves -horns -antlers -tendons -ears -yak chews All these are totally natural and will not hurt your dog. If you love them do not buy rawhide and let's help by not purchasing them put an end to the rawhide industry! Mostly made in China also, where they have very minimal standards for things such as rawhide. Wanted to add to this post as its gone so far which is incredible! Just because you haven't had any issues feeding it, or "your dogs been fine for years" doesn't mean its okay! You now know how it's made and how dangerous it is. So please don't comment that your dog has been fine, its your choice to feed this and put your dog at risk, that's fine, but wouldn't it be so sad if something did happen, for the sake of an extra couple of pounds, buy them something safer and healthier to chew on.

With an increasing number of orphaned neonates (puppies and kittens), malnourished pregnant mums, stressed and certain trauma cases coming through our facility we would love to supply our brilliant team with a few extra intensive care supplies on hand to provide the best ongoing and preventive care solutions possible.....We would love to have on-site our very own ICU small animal incubator to provide our special and neonatal cases a higher chance of survival and recovery. The incubator or humidicrib will provide us a more isolated, safe and controlled environment space to suit their individual and ongoing care needs..... By supporting our raffle along with other planned fundraising events our goal is to hopefully raise $2500. Please share

01.01.2022 Thanks to all your amazing ongoing support, today, we were able to upgrade our bath to a hydrobath. This will make bathing 1000x easier and quicker! We gave it a test run and I also started training hubby he will be on board to assist with baths in the future.

A simple way to check if it is too hot for them is to pl...ace the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If it is too hot for you it is too hot for them and their paws will burn. We know how much our dogs love their walks but if it is too hot it can lead to serious health issues. Keep them cool and comfortable. See more
