15.01.2022 The next section we are working on transforming is at the southern end of our Dam, this is where the water flows in and has the potential to flood so I have just split some bamboo (old hamii variety, which eventually we will harvest to use for some farm structures ) to plant as a grove. This will withstand potential flooding, enjoy the regular moisture from the dam and hopefully slow the flow of any water, assisting with erosion control. Also a chill zone with hammock...s are incorporated into the end design ,and some gorgeous flowering gingers. Give it 3 years or so and it will be a pretty special space on our property I reckon #permaculturedesign #functionstacking #bamboogrove #biggoalsbabysteps

11.01.2022 We haven't been frequenting markets quite so often lately as Sarah is 'cooking' another baby :D But for those of you who are looking to purchase our beautiful plants, Good News! we are now selling out of our Local FSG Shop in Ballina on River St. This great shop supports local artists/ crafts people, with a beautiful range of unique stock, benefiting our community directly. A great place to do your Christmas shopping perhaps?!? :D... Come on down and check them out!
