24.01.2022 Last year our team was able to present our first program 'Mental Health and Medical Students' working with senior medical students at the Launceston Clinical School. This was a team effort designed by medical students and supported by staff and academics at the Launceston Clinical School, local GPs and mental health stakeholders who supported in the preparation and presentation of this workshop. This became part of an impact evaluation study which has been published in the C...linical Teacher Journal- Check it out! We are super excited to be working again with the medical student cohort of UTAS in September to further improve mental health and wellbeing among students. Huge thanks to all involved! https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/tct.13052

23.01.2022 Today our team had the absolute privilege of working with Saint Mary's College's Grade 8 Superstars. These amazing girls blew us away with their endless energy and enthusiasm for everything we threw at them; their maturity and wisdom far beyond their years; and their courage to step out of their comfort zones and really get the most out of their time with us. We finished the day with beaming smiles and full hearts. #WORDSHAVEPOWER

12.01.2022 From the team at LHP we hope that you are all safe and well. Whilst we work together to get through this difficult time, we will be offline. Be kind to yourselves and those around you over the coming weeks or months and we will see you on the other side!

12.01.2022 A huge, heartfelt thank you to the one hundred Grade Eight students who participated in the 2018 Girls Alliance Program. It was a day of joy, a day of union, a day of presence- A day of pure magic. We are all so grateful to get to do what we do. Remember this, beautiful young women: "My sensitivity is strength. ... My vulnerability is fire. I feel, I heal, I experience deeply. I create. I impact. I am powerful beyond measure. Enough already. I am enough, already." See more

Thank you, lovely girls, for showing us your continuous positivity, bravery, passion, team work and group unity. 04.01.2022 Mental health and medical students has been a program very close to the heart. It was incredibly special to work with our third year peers today and talk about things that we otherwise dont get the chance to talk about in such a demanding course. Thank you to our speaker and panel members for sharing their perspective as medical practitioners and sharing the passion for improving the mental health of medical students. Bring on Wednesdays program !

04.01.2022 Dominic College’s Mental Health Week was polished off with a small but vibrant bunch from their remaining Grade Seven class. These guys participated with great gusto and spirit, it was amazing to see! It’s been a huge joy, honour and privilege to work in this new school community, where the students and teachers alike really blew us away repeatedly throughout the whole week with their openness, their energy, their empathy and their commitment to change. Thanks again for having us, Dominic College! #WORDSHAVEPOWER

01.01.2022 Back to where The Little Help Project began We had a blast on Monday working with students from Guilford Young College. Our movement first began at this school in 2013, so it is very special to be back! This was the first of a series of sessions in which we will work alongside these students, developing their skills and ultimately putting together their very own program for primary school kids! We can't wait to see how it goes! #wordshavepower
