24.01.2022 Swimming Skills save lives! Great advice from Glide, ASSA’s SAFER WaterWarrior and champion for everyone learning how to swim! Yindi, her wise guide, reminds us that swimming skills are a gift for life & it is the most important activity for parents to get their kids into. Swimming skills should never replace Adult Supervision and Flotation devices should always be used in moderation! Include...Thrive..Survive! Keep these tips in mind as we ‘Countdown to Summer’!

23.01.2022 It was an Honour to have Ron Hoenig MP cut the ribbon to open Heroes House on International Day of People with a Disability. His passion for Inclusion in The Community is outstanding and we very much thank him for his support over the years. The speech that he delivered truly showed that he understood the journey that has been the finding and delivering of Heroes House, and what is means to our students and families. We look forward to a continuing relationship with Mr Hoenig and all of our supporters that joined us last night. There will be more photos of this fantastic event coming soon.
22.01.2022 FENCES AND BARRIERS Save Lives "Fences & gates need regular checking and maintenance to keep children SAFER" Great advice from Force, ASSA’s SAFER WaterWarrior ...for barriers. Our Wise guru Yindy adds keep anything a child could climb onto to access a pool gate latch, securely away & consider locks & alarms for extra protection - be vigilant as we count down to Summer! The 30th of November will be a momentous day for our charity, a long way from our first lessons at Icebergs in the Summer of 2012. This will be a house for our students, our families, our mentors and our Heroes. This will be a house of bravery, of skill, of joy, of perseverance, of inclusion.
