LITTLE INDIA HARRIS PARK REFERENCE GROUP in the establishment of Little India Harris Park Tourisim Reference group to Position Harris Park as the " LITTLE INDIA " Precinct in greater Sydney. There will be eleven( 11) reference group members which includes three (3) City of Parramatta Councillor representatives and two (2) City of Parramatta Council Representatives. Lord Mayor City of Parramatta Council or his delegated Councillor will act as a Chairperson to LIHPRG. We are thankful to City of Parramatta to make this happen. On 26th Jan 2016 firstly we announced Harris Park as Little India with the support of MP Parramatta Dr Geoff Lee. In March 2020 with councillor Bill Tyrell we undersigned the petition with city of Parramata council that the Wigram street ,Marion Street 2150 and the surrounding areas will be signposted and marketed as Little India. And today on 13th October 2020 Lord Mayor Bob Dwyer has stated Little India Harris Park Reference Group along with the presence of Councillor Steven Issa, Councillor Patricia Provic Councillor Andrew Wilson.Councillor Bill Tyrell, Councillor Sameer Pandey.
