21.01.2022 Do you have a food product or idea? Or are you a primary producer with waste streams? If you are based in Tasmania, this is a great opportunity for you.... Aimee and I have been in this incubator program since March and have made huge leaps in understanding our business and have diversified our offering and are looking forward to implementing more of our learnings in the coming months. 17.01.2022 Lacto Fermented Shiitake X Koji - what will happen?? A collaborative experiment that will hopefully come out with amazing result!! #Repost @analiesegregory... Shiitake brine left over from a lacto ferment being turned into a mushroom shio Koji, fingers crossed it’s good! It already has an aroma of truffle which is really interesting! This is a combined project with @littleislemushrooms to help generate new mushroom based products for a retail range for them. It’s time to be innovative and use our skills to help others weather this crisis. Stay tuned to see how we go! See more

13.01.2022 Thank you SeedLab for the feature! We have learnt so much about our business, product and a new way of thinking about things. And that's just in the 1st month! ... Love it! #tasmania #hobart #Repost @seedlabtas Meet Aimee and Ian, the founding team behind @littleislemushrooms. Aimee and Ian’s journey began in their Blackman’s Bay garage back in 2018, when a search for meaning and a desire to work with their hands led them to growing speciality mushrooms. They quickly identified a gap in the market for fresh Tassie-grown speciality mushrooms and two years later they are now growing three kinds of mushroom, producing an array of mushroom-based products and suppling some of Tasmania’s top restaurants. We are so proud that Little Isle Mushrooms is part of our SeedLab community! . . #seedlabtasmania #founderfeature #startuptasmania #australiansmallbusiness #meetthemaker #tasmanianproduce #tassiegrown #huonvalley #agrifood #agribusiness #paddocktoplate #madeonthefarm"
