19.01.2022 The babies have been exploring and investigating in sensory play this week. Trying out new textures and smells as they had lots of fun playing with the shaving foam and squishing the snow they made together. Sensory Play provides opportunities for children to use all their senses, their curiosity, fine motor skills, problem solving skills, language development and is an important part of early childhood development

16.01.2022 After some beautiful colouring in on each square,we stuck it all back together to make The rainbow Serpent. The rainbow serpent is based on a traditional aboriginal Dreamtime story. Dreamtime stories tell how the Rainbow Serpent came from beneath the ground and created huge ridges, mountains and gorges as it pushed upward. The children enjoyed colouring to make The rainbow serpent and hearing about the story.
