18.01.2022 01.02.21 Water play We love encouraging children to play in water, water is an important natural material that provides hours of absorbing fun and a multitude of wonderful development and learning opportunities. Children can find water play both calming or invigorating depending on the activity being presented. Vigorous splashing and running around in the water can be an outlet for pent up energy, also a great way for kids to have fun and let off steam. Fine motor skills... and hand eye coordination are constantly refined as children scoop and pour water and fill empty containers in multitude of different ways. Ash

16.01.2022 Today’s art and craft with both rooms enjoying the outdoors this morning. Our Little rainbows room developing their fine motor skills using the spray bottles to spray the easel with paint and water, making creations of their own using their hands and fingers. Preschool room done some visual shape painting, using their cognitive and fine motor skills. Cognitive skills are the core skills the brain uses to think, read, learn, remember and pay attention....
