Letter recognition is important because it enables children to figure... out how printed text is associated with the spoken language. It also promotes children ability to visually recognize letters of the alphabet through hands-on learning. 12.01.2022 Sometimes things that seem small are the things that can create an amazing learning opportunity for children, for example: Waiting and Walking in Line Having children to line up can build their listening skills, focus, and problem-solving skills. In order to walk in a line, children have to be able to practice self-control when it comes to their behaviors and impulses. What this means is that they are to keep their hands to themselves, control the speed and the volume o...f their voices, and retain appropriate body space with others. Children also need to be able to listen to instructions using eye contact and by listening closely for the teacher’s directions and/or redirection. This activity can promote and exhibit children’s skills in motor planning, coordination and visual perceptual. Well Done! See more
