22.01.2022 This Saturday, the 26th of September, is Childhood Brain Cancer Awareness Day. If you have been following my page for a while now, many of you may know beautiful little Josie Dun who lost her battle with DIPG - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma - only 9 months ago. Last year I decided to hold an ONLINE AUCTION to raise much needed funds for RUN DIPG and I have decided to do the same again this year. Up for Auction is 3 Family Photography Digital Package sessions worth $1,100 e...ach with myself. Your session can be outdoors or in the studio. 100% of the proceeds will go straight to RUN DIPG to aid in the research needed to try and find a cure for this heartbreaking disease. The Auction begins tonight and will go through until Saturday the 26th of September and end at 7:30pm. The highest bidders will each have a family photo session with myself and know your hard earned money is going to a very special and important cause. 20.01.2022 Sunrise sessions are honestly one of my favourites to do. Everyone is usually still waking up as they arrive and before you know it the sun bursts through and everyone forgets about being in front of the camera and they all enjoy just being together. Yes, even Paul ;) As we creep towards the warmer weather I would highly recommend a sunrise session for your family. It really is a fabulous way to start the day. 18.01.2022 Finding good neighbours isn't always easy. We were very fortunate to find Jo & Simon over the side fence of a house we lived in about 12 years ago after relocating back to Newcastle from Melbourne. We became immediate friends, so much so they now live in the same suburb as us again! When they told us they were expecting Olivia, not long after we had our first son, we were over the moon for them. Olivia really is the apple of their eye and is such a beautiful girl, both inside and out. 18.01.2022 Today I met beautiful little Finn, just 6 days old, baby brother of lovely Lenny and Mason. Amie and Andrew live 7 hours away, so remote that there is no hospital within 3 hours of where they live. With every baby, they have travelled to stay with family on the Central Coast, whilst they wait for their baby to be delivered in Newcastle. Once their babies are born, they wait to be discharged, come straight to me for their newborn family photos and then hit the road to travel t...he long 7 hours home. The logistics of it all just blows my mind. I love that they have come back to me with every baby and I guess I have become a part of their baby delivery tradition ;)!!! I know I am looking forward to my bed tonight, but no where near as much as Amie and Andrew I am sure!!! 17.01.2022 A HUGE THANKS to each and everyone of you who shared, commented and made a bid on the online auction for RUN DIPG which finished last night. We raised a whopping $3,700! Every cent of the proceeds raised will be going to the wonder labs and scientists who are researching ways to find to a cure for DIPG and to make life more bearable for children with brain cancer. We call all help make a difference. A fantastic result x

13.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! I am looking forward to kicking off 2021 with little Teddy and his big brother Archie in the studio tomorrow. I was so happy that I could photograph Teddy at the hospital for his Fresh 48 session. It was my first hospital session since COVID restrictions began. I have more hospital sessions scheduled in so if you are having a baby and would like to capture those first 48 hours which are often a big blur, get in touch. I absolutely love them! 12.01.2022 Awesome fun with the lovely Higgins family watching the sun go down as the waves crashed on the shore. Haylen, Nash and Cooper were just beautiful. My hat goes off to all parents with twins and I am full of admiration for the ease that they seem to be able to sweep two babies up together at any time a cuddle or some reassurance is needed. 09.01.2022 Dreaming of holidays right now and spending some quality time at the beach... I have so many orders sitting here waiting to go to their new homes. 08.01.2022 When was the last time you had a photo with your parents? Can't remember? Then it's obviously time you changed that. It is so easy and simple to do. You just pick a date and then I do all the work. I will even make you forget about the nerves, (trust me we all have them!), and you might even enjoy yourself! I really enjoyed watching the sun come up with Chris and Louise and their whole family. A gift from their three lovely daughters. Honestly don't put it off. Just do it. 07.01.2022 My last session for 2020 was one of my favourites for the whole year! Doug and Barb, the loveliest of lovely couples, surrounded by their beautiful grandchildren. The rest of the family was sensational as well and it was such a fun afternoon. But tonight it is all about that special grandparent love. It really was the perfect way to end the year.
