19.01.2022 The rainbow has become quite the icon for us around these parts. My grandmother used to say to me when bad things happened "Watch for the Rainbows.. They are Coming" and she was always right - Silver Linings and Rainbows always came. During Covid, when we closed our doors - we cried a lot. Ok.. I cried a lot... Carl just did a lot of floor pacing. But we watched for the rainbows... and sure enough they came. They came when we reopened our doors and YOU GUYS walked ...through them and YOU were our rainbows. From that moment rainbows have become a huge part of who we are at Little Lane. You will see them celebrated all throughout the studio, They are in our logo, we wear them on our Little Lane Shirts and we even make them too! This beautiful rainbow was made by one of our gorgeous 'Rainbow Guests' in our recent MACRAME RAINBOW WORKSHOP. Our next one of these classes is on January 9th so if you want to come and make rainbows with us - well... you know the drill. Remember... always watch for the rainbows and look for those silver linings. They are there... sometimes it just takes a little while for the clouds to clear so that you can see them. 09.01.2022 So this kind of happened last night and to say that we are overwhelmed with gratitude this morning - well there is actually no kind of way of explaining WHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT THAT IS. The truth is that we didn’t really want to make much of a fuss of announcing that we were finalists in the @localbusinessawards_ because.. honestly it was truly just such a buzz for our entire team after one crazy rollercoaster year to even be nominated, let alone announced as a final...ist. We just planned to take ourselves off to the gala dinner last night as a special treat, to cheer on our fellow businesses who have done it SO tough this year and done themselves proud, to toast each other and to celebrate the fact that we made it through the toughest craziest most emotional year of business we have ever imagined we would experience. And then well then we won and it is not often that I am at a loss for words but WOW!!! I am SO freaking proud of our Little Lane Team and our AMAZING family of creatives AND our beautiful precious community who have loved us and supported us and believed in us and our dream and we are so flipping honoured to accept this award on behalf of ALL OF US and to every single person out there who dares themselves to dream. Thank you with all of our hearts you guys. Yet again you made this very proud Studio Mama cry with absolute joy

03.01.2022 How RIDONKULOUSLY gorgeous is this watercolour painting one of our beautiful guests Solenne painted in our TROPICAL WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP recently with the fabulous Vinaya of @a_bluebirds_tale !!! I am not even kidding... not even a little.... when I tell you I was ready to tuck this little painting under my arm and make a run for it.
