25.01.2022 Yesterday, we had our very first LLD Graduation Our program runs from ages 2-Yr4. We are so proud of our girls who danced so beautifully in both ballet and lyrical. Thank you to the lovely Miss Arna who also finished teaching at Little Lights yesterday. 25.01.2022 2020 may have been a tough one for us all BUT we’ve certainly finished on a high here at LLD! Preschool Showcases for the year are done (and my oh my I think they just may have been our best ones yet) with only 3 more shows tomorrow morning and then it’s time for our team to have a very well deserved break! 09.01.2022 CRAZY HAIR WEEK IN THE STUDIO THIS WEEK! This week we’ll be raising money for SCHF program ‘Back on Track’ which has helped one of our own - Eleanor Here’s a little bit on Eleanor’s story: ... On 30 April 2019, Eleanor was diagnosed with leukaemia. As her family was coming to terms with her diagnosis and treatment plan, her parents became concerned about what this meant for Eleanor's schooling. Eleanor had just finished her first term of kindy when she was diagnosed (she didn't have a single absence all term who would have thought!). She loved her teachers, was enjoying all the new experiences like assembly and choir and was starting to make new friends. The "Back-on-Track" program helped Eleanor keep up with school. Helping Eleanor stay engaged with her education while receiving treatment for her leukaemia was key to helping reduce the long-term impact of cancer for her. Eleanor had two beautiful teachers, Trish and Jan, who were provided by the program and made beautiful connections with Eleanor. They were able to keep Eleanor engaged, continue to challenge her and spark her love in learning. Eleanor's hard work and the support of the "Back-on-Track" program meant that Eleanor was able to return to school with her friends in year 1. Eleanor is now thriving in Year 2 and will soon finish her chemotherapy treatment. @eleanor_warrior_princess

Miss Emma created the Shining Lights ballet program which we still teach and adhere to now. It’s filled with beautiful technique, magical props and creative ballet sections each week.
