25.01.2022 A great outdoor activity I set up for my Little Lovelies yesterday...... Would have liked to make them larger but we ran out of masking tape. The kids had lots of fun All you need is a fence / pavement, masking tape and some chalk!!

As a mum of two beautiful, sassy and active girls, I can relate to how stressed you may be feeling during these crazy times of self isolation, social distancing, and trying to do the best thing for your family!! With many parents deciding not to send their children to school and the likelihood that schools may be closed and activities cancelled soon, we are all going to be at home. I thought we would ...help where we can by sharing activities and information that we are finding helpful to entertain and educate our Little Lovelies. Lets face it, working from home while children are about does not paint a pretty picture of calm and harmony! My kids sense when Im about to make a call or I am typing an important email, and insist on showing me their new acrobatic move or asking for their 100th snack of the day! :) Hoping that some of these ideas may entertain, and teach your children whilst having fun. My kids absolutely love this!! 2. Another favourite in our house, especially with our 6 year old is Art For Kids Hub on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/user/ArtforKidsHub. For all the creative kids out there, this site teaches children of all ages simple but amazing drawings using minimal art supplies. 3. Did you know Headspace has a kids section? 12.01.2022 Last week I encouraged our local community to start a Bear Hunt and the response has been amazing!!. We have even been featured on the news!!! (see below). The children love it and it makes our daily outing to get some fresh air so very exciting. If your community hasn't started one, maybe you could be the one to start it up. It is very simple to do.... 1. Find and join your local Facebook Page.... 2. Start a Bear Hunt Facebook page encouraging people to put a teddy in their front windows or in their gardens. In the page description ask people to take a photo of the bear and to post it to the page with the street name. 3. Write a post on your local page, describing what the Bear Hunt is about and post a link to your Bear Hunt Page. 4. Start to track where the bears can be found. 5. Enjoy going on a bear hunt.
