The great thing about our equipment is that it can be set up indoors or outdoors meaning there are a variety of surfaces our equipment can be setup on. However, for the safety of your children and to preserve the quality of our equipment we ask you respect a few rules regarding the surfaces on which you set up our equipment:... 1 Please use the equipment on flat level ground. 2 Please put down a tarp first, if the ground that you will be putting the equipment on is wet / damp or has fuel / oil spills to ensure the water or oil is not absorbed in to or stains our equipment. 3 Please clear the area upon which you will be setting the equipment from any debris such as seeds, stones or anything which may cause the equipment to become imprinted or punctured. This also includes, as per last weeks post where events are held in local parks, checking for and removing animal . 4 Bouncy castles, for your children's safety, should only be setup on a soft surface and away from any overhanging branches, laundry or electricity lines. The castles should also not be placed next to walls, trees, furniture etc where they could pose a hazard to bouncing children. 14.01.2022 FAQ - I DON'T NEED THE EQUIPMENT FOR A FULL WEEKEND. CAN I HAVE A DISCOUNT? Okay, so we know that not everyone wants to hire our equipment for the full weekend and that's okay. However, we do not offer a discount for hiring our equipment for a shorter time and there are a few reasons why. 1 Regardless of how long the equipment is hired for, the work required to prepare and after each hire is the same. Cleaning the equipment can take us up to 2 full days each week. Additiona...lly, the behind the scenes work required for each hire such as completing the booking paperwork, following up payments, preparing the items for delivery / collection etc all remains the same. If the work remains the same, the amount we charge remains the same. 2 Costs - running a kids party hire business is not cheap. Our insurance accounts for a significant portion of our sales. There are also marketing costs, repair and replacement costs (ball pit balls go missing A LOT!), cleaning material costs, motor vehicle and trailer costs, etc. Additionally, the equipment itself is not cheap! Each equipment hire price has been carefully calculated to not only paying off the cost of acquisition over time, but also cover eventual replacement AND all the business overheads. 3 We are not open nor do we work in the business on the weekends and as such no cleaning of the returned equipment takes place until Monday. Therefore, even if you only hire an item for 2 hours, that equipment cannot be re-hired in the same weekend. Due to this we do not offer discounts as if we did, we have lost out on the full weekend price. We do not have a warehouse or showroom where we can setup and showcase the equipment and all of the equipment is packed away, in various pieces, tubs and storage racks in our family home. One of our most common questions after a customer has decided what they want to hire and that they want to collect the equipment is - will that fit inside my car? We know what fits inside of our car and trailer that we use for our deliveries. However, without knowing the customer's particular vehicle, this can be a hard for us to answer with certainty. ... As always we will do our best to help you by providing you with as much information as we can such as: The actual size of the equipment selected Offering a guide of how well they may fit in your vehicle by letting you know how those items fit inside of our car and / or our trailer Providing a general guide as to what types of cars (for example, hatchbacks) that we know a particular item or package will not fit in to. We also suggest the following to ensure you have the most amount of space available in the transport you arrange: Remove everything from your boot space and passenger row Where possible, fold the passenger row down Try not to bring any passengers with you so you have as much space free in the car as possible Where you are hiring a package or very large equipment, it always best to bring a weather protective trailer or second vehicle as most packages will not fit in to one passenger vehicle. Of course, where you are not confident that the equipment will fit, we do offer a delivery service with deliveries on Friday and collections on Mondays. 06.01.2022 FAQ - CAN I PAY AT PICKUP / DELIVERY? Unfortunately, the answer to this is no. It takes a lot of time to retrieve items from storage and prepare them ready for collection or have them loaded and then delivered to a customer's address. If we are later told at collection / delivery that a customer does not have the full amount to pay us then we will not be handing over those items for hire. We then have to re-pack and re-store items (and in the case of a delivery return to si...te) and we have received no payment for the time we have invested or delivery costs we have incurred. Due to this, our payment terms require that all invoices are paid in full no later than 7 days before the collection / delivery date. 04.01.2022 FAQ - CAN WE RETURN THE ITEMS ON MONDAY? Collections are between 3-6pm Friday with returns between 3-5pm Sunday. Sometimes events are held on Sunday afternoon and for these hires we are occasionally asked if items can be returned on a Monday instead. This is something that we always try to accomodate as best as possible but as Mondays are a very busy day for us this isn't always possible. Therefore, this is something that does need to be requested when booking. We are out Mo...nday mornings collecting the weekend's deliveries and by early afternoon we have to head out for the school run. For our bouncy castles, we have 0.9m x 1.8m gym mats and for equipment such as the ball pits and rollercoasters we have our 1m x 1m EVA mats. As each type of mat is fairly large and CANNOT BE BENT, we stipulate both the size of the mats and how many of each type of mat will be included in your hire so you can be aware of this if you are collecting the equipment. Even so we have many people arrive and realise they may not fi...t in the transport they have arranged, which then leads to this question. The short answer is no. The long answer is still no but here is why. The mats are provided as a piece of safety equipment to keep your little ones safe. They are considered parts of the equipment being hired and all parts must be taken and assembled as per our or the manufacturers instructions as stated in your Hire Agreement. 03.01.2022 FAQ - Can we use your equipment at the park? Of course! The great thing about our equipment is that it can be set up indoors or outdoors including at your local park. However, we do note the following two points:... 1 Before you setup we ask that you inspect and clear the area upon which you will be setting the equipment from any debris such as seeds, stones or anything which may cause the equipment to become imprinted or punctured. This includes putting down a tarp if the ground is wet and checking for and removing animal ! It's not nice for us to find and clean! 2 Our bouncy castles need electricity to be able to run. Therefore, you will only be able to use our bouncy castles in a park where you have close access to an electricity source where you can plug in the air pump.
