24.01.2022 Thanks to all who helped celebrate our 1st birthday last week! Since opening, our residential aged care service is full with 96 residents, our community care team has grown caring for more clients in their homes, the cafe has served more than 25,000 cups of coffee, over 1000 people have engaged in swimming classes/activities and we have hosted many events for our community. If you havent yet, come and check out what we have to offer! The best is yet to come.

14.01.2022 OPENING UPDATE Here it is, the update youve all been waiting for. Monday 22nd June at 6am we will re-open for lap swimming, squad and aqua aerobics only.... There will of course be some important changes to how we operate in order to keep everyone safe so please take the time to read the below. For best response, please email any enquiries to: [email protected] Heres some important things to note for the foreseeable future and subject to change. Our opening hours will be reduced to 6am-12pm Monday to Saturday New session times: Squad 6am Tuesdays and Thursdays. Aqua Aerobics 9:30am & 10:30am on Mondays and Wednesday We are limited to a maximum of 20 patrons total at any one time, two people maximum per lap swimming lane Maximum 10 people per squad/aqua aerobics class, bookings essential via phone/email. First in first served for lap swimming for any available spots subject to limits. Arrivals on the hour (ie: 6am, 7am etc.) leave after 45 minutes (ie. 6:45am, 7:45am) No spectators, except for up to one parent/carer per child, if necessary (included in maximum patrons on site Communal showers and change rooms will be closed (toilets accessible) No food or drinks being sold Contactless payments preferred No lockers available, swimmers encouraged to bring minimal possessions. Arrive/swim/leave. Swimmers and patrons will be required to adhere to all COVIDSafe hygiene practices, 1.5m social distancing guidelines and floor markings as well as signed maximum person limits as per below breakdown of centre into areas You should stay home if you have any symptoms of illness or if you are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test Information on ALL swimmers and visitors will be captured by staff at point of entry and time of exit. Learn-to-swim programs are only expected to resume for Term 3, on Monday 13th July We will honour any credits on family balances and extend expirys on 10 visit passes in recognition of extenuating circumstances. Monthly members will also swim for free between 22nd June and 1st July We will contact all members in the coming week or two to confirm their membership before running a direct debit on Thursday 25th June for July memberships We anticipate a return to normal operating hours and normal programs from Monday 13th July (Term 3) with COVIDSafe measures still in place subject to latest QLD Health advice and industry guidelines.

06.01.2022 Thanks to everyone for your patience during the Parklands Bvd upgrade project. We are very hopeful of how this will improve traffic flow around our campus! Here is clarification regarding u-turns on Parklands Bvd U-turns are permitted at the Sunset Drive intersection. A sign has been placed at the intersection advising motorists. U-turns are not permitted at the Meridan Way intersection, however roundabouts for U-turning are available in very close proximity (less than 250m) along Parklands Boulevard to the west and along Meridan Way to the north.
