22.01.2022 Take a look at our Rainbow Serpent artworks! We have been working really hard to create some beautiful artworks about events that happened in the Rainbow Serpent story, keep an eye out to see how they come together to tell the story!

17.01.2022 Sensory play! Combining our love for exploring new sensations and creating artworks. This week we have made yellow and blue finger paint which we have put on our table and seen the colour change before our eyes and we squish and mix it with our hands. We’re extending our vocabulary by finding words to describe what we are seeing and feeling. Once we’ve had enough time exploring, we draw a picture using our finger and print our picture on to the page. This is a great introduction to the art medium of printing, seeing how art can be transferred across different surfaces.

06.01.2022 Today is Indigenous Literacy Day! Last year we held The Great Book Swap to raise money and awareness to support literacy of Indigenous children in remote communities. This year because of Covid, it was difficult to organise such an event, however the Indigenous Literacy Foundation are having a virtual event on the ILF youtube channel at 2pm. This will also be available for viewing after this time also. You can tune in from home if you like!
