25.01.2022 Slow fashion I’ve sewn clothes for as long as I can remember. Never has the skill been so important than after babies. Being able to design and create quality garments that fit and flatter has been so valuable to my sense of self. This dress cost me around $60 in fabric, it gets thrown in the wash with my other items and comes out perfect. It’s been finished to perfection with French seams and self made bias binding, it’s now two years old and still going strong. A few weeks ago I was incredibly lucky to be picked as a pattern tester for @byhandlondon for their new fleet of patterns for little ones. I tested the little flora, which is also available in adult size too it’s got a gorgeous dipped hem, pleated full circle skirt and some super cute options for the straps. 03.01.2022 Inspired by a popular style dress on fb ads I decided to make my own using some delish linen from @wearethefabricstore another inspiration was @elisalex using the #bhlflora pattern, omitting the waist darts, shortening the bodice and adding a gathered and tiered skirt.

02.01.2022 Well we did it!!! The girls had their confirmation ceremony last night. I was still hand stitching the lace to the waistband an hour before church started, but I’m proud of these two girls and love watching them develop into beautiful kind hearted ladies before my eyes. 01.01.2022 I’m still here everyone, thanks for the lovely messages and the swimwear requests! Truth is about two months ago I did some pretty major damage to my back, unable to walk for two weeks and still a little numb down my left leg but 90% back to normal. I’ve got some orders on the go but I can’t sit for long at the machine, so it’s small batch production that’s for sure. Keep the requests coming through and I will run the business on a request basis whereby I can control the ...workload more so than website ordering.
