19.01.2022 For the month of January all coffee profits are going to this gorgeous girl.. . A few months ago Georgia was diagnosed with a very rare form of ovarian cancer, she is one of only three females with this particular diagnosis and is the youngest woman presenting with these cells. . Since October Georgia has spent a large amount of time in the RHH, away from her home and friends on the North West coast. She has undergone 3 major emergency surgeries removing one of her ovaries an...d both her lymph nodes and is currently undergoing a severe course of Chemo. The unpredictable behaviour of these cancer cells remains a mystery to many health professionals who are studying Georgia’s case. . While professional support is available to Georgia, the financial strain of fighting this will remain an uphill battle, emotionally and financially for herself and Tom in the upcoming months. . Georgia is unable to work and Tom is taking unpaid carer’s leave to stay at home and support Georgia. Unfortunately, both Georgia and Tom have been unable to receive any allowance from Centrelink. While they are both without an income, any money will make sure they can stay afloat and afford their loan repayments alongside Georgia’s treatment and medication. . We want nothing more than for Georgia to be happy and healthy. She always puts her friends and her community first and works hard for what she believes in.
