23.01.2022 Today is Mr D last day... ( well not actual he will be here over xmas).. i have had him since he was 6 months old, just a little baby. Now he is a very active happy little 3.5 year old. I don't know what i will do without his constant chatter and questions we will miss you Deycon so much ... i will be so sad but i know you will dominate at Kindy. The bright side is i now get your baby brother to corrupt love you buddy xx

16.01.2022 Monday Funday. This week we are doing nursery rhymes as a request by the children. Today was all about Humpty Dumpty! We made a humpty and we all took turns singing the song and making humpty fall off the wall.. Today we also did number recognition and will continue to work on numbers.

15.01.2022 Update: Coronavirus Little Panda is operating as usual. To ensure the safety of the kids in care, myself and my family I have implemented some measures to help avoid this virus. * The daycare room is thoroughly cleaned in the morning, at rest time and at the end of day. ... * Toys are being wiped down and washed after play * We are doing less sensory play where the kids are all placing their hands in different textures and materials. * All excursions and play groups have been cancelled at this time * the kids are washing their hands very frequently with soap. * we are spending more time outside in the fresh air. The one bonus about family daycare compared to big centres is that there is only a max of 5 of us in care. This is a scary time for everyone and we need to support each other. 12.01.2022 WE ARE EXCITED! Every year i do a charity with the kids to teach them the gift of giving and thinking of others. We usually do charities for kids, so my little Pandas can help other kids who are having a hard time. This year i decided that we will keep it local. So with the help of some local business who are providing some prizes, we are going to have a raffle to raise money so we can buy some toys for the children ward here in bundaberg. ... I have been in contact with the hospital and they are going to give me a list of things that we can buy once the raffle is complete. My Pandas are beautiful, caring kids who look after each other and this is a great learning experience as well as a great life lesson. Kindness is free, so watch this space and I will announce when raffle tickets are available.
