24.01.2022 Science week has had al of rooms exploring and investigating lots of new ideas. We have looked at colour mixing, sinking and floating, heavy and light, kaleidoscopes, seeds and germination, mini lava lamps and many other concepts.

23.01.2022 Another achievement for Little Patch Early Learning! After many months of hard work and training, last week we were awarded our Smiles for Miles certificate. This award acknowledges our contribution towards healthy eating and dental health in early childhood. Well done team

Thank you to "The Zoo Comes to You" for a truly hands on and educational experience with our Australian animals. Even our littlest of enrollees were so engaged. 18.01.2022 Not even the crazy Melbourne weather will stop us from heading over to see our friends at South Port Aged Care for our Christmas celebration. A bus trip just added extra excitement and fun. Followed by a jumping castle and bbq lunch. We have watched the children and the residents build on their friendships throughout the year and we cant wait to continue next year.

14.01.2022 There is nothing more heart warming than the organic and joyful interactions between generations! Our Inter-generational Community Connections Program brings together our kinder children and the residents of South Port Aged Care facility in Port Melbourne. The benefits of Inter-generational learning are widely researched and deliver a highly valuable and rewarding experience for both the children and the elderly. Today our kinder children helped their friends with puzzles, made hot dogs with playdough, read books together, and sang "You Are My Sunshine". And we also got to enjoy the gorgeous sunshine on our walk there and back. We are looking forward to our next visit.

14.01.2022 And thats a wrap! Our Christmas Party was a wonderful opportunity to bring our Little Patch community together and celebrate a year of fun, education, family and friends. 09.01.2022 What an amazingly fun and educational day we had today. As a pet friendly centre we were lucky enough to have Venus the (most adorable) kitten spend the day with us. She loved spending time with the children and was full of energy. And Jacquie from Allergy Aware visited the kinder group to educate the children on allergy awareness. And then of course we enjoyed our regular and most welcome visit, Janet from Mini Maestros to help the children get their groove on! Thank you everyone for a wonderful day!
