25.01.2022 A big thank you to St Mary's Primary School for the invitation to attend their annual art show. Our Kinder children had a fabulous time and returned to Little Patch very inspired

25.01.2022 Not even a pandemic can break our community spirit! If the children can't come to Little Patch then we take Little Patch to the children! Due to COVID-19 Isabelle and Henry haven't been able to attend Little Patch for a while so we arranged for their friends to send some artwork to stay connected. Isabelle and Henry also live very close to Little Patch so they visit our pets on the weekend for some much needed cuddles. What a wonderful community we share

25.01.2022 Little Patch recently registered to be a part of the Australia Post Pen Pal Club and our Kinder children were very excited to receive their first letters from their Pen Pals all the way from Western Australia

21.01.2022 Our Kinder children loved getting hands on and creative during our "Little Woodworkers" incursion

21.01.2022 Our Kinder children enjoying their "Edible & Indigenous Gardens" incursion. A hands on experience that allowed the children to use their senses to explore and learn about a range of indigenous plants, brew some natural tea for a special tea party as well as being presented with a leaf bracelet to honor their promises they made to our land.

21.01.2022 Many of our families currently dont get to see our learning environments as they pick up and drop off at reception (thanks to Coronavirus). 20.01.2022 What an adventure the Kinder children had today as we rode a tram to Woolworths where they participated in a kids discovery tour. Not only did the children receive a tour of the store & get to watch flat bread being made, they also got to sample some yummy food along the way! What a great experience to help extend on our knowledge about healthy eating habits

13.01.2022 Yesterday our Kinder children participated in the Responsible Pet Education program where they learnt from Netta how to be safe around dogs and how to approach a dog safely with its owner. We even had a special guest, Bailey the Beagle

13.01.2022 What a wonderful two weeks it has been hosting "Henny Penny" here at Little Patch. All of the children have shown great excitement as they have been able to experience and enjoy watching the eggs hatch and baby chicks appear before their eyes.

The children received an up close experience with a range of Australian animals while learning all about the impact humans have on animals, what we can do to help and a lot of fun facts along the way.
