25.01.2022 I may just win the 'Idiot of the Year Award' after this morning at work! My other job is a very early morning cleaning job at our local pub and today when I arrived the cleaning storeroom, where all my essential cleaning things are kept, was locked... It's never locked and I don't have a key or know where the key is!! So I proceed to ransack the office searching everywhere for the elusive key! I find a whole bucket full of odd keys and think 'surely one of these will fit!' In... the meantime I decide that I probably need to contact the bar manager to let him know what's happening but being 5 in the morning I really don't want to wake him up!! So I text him instead hoping that he might wake up and read the message and come and save me! In the meantime though I keep searching for the key!! After trying every single key in the bucket and swearing a lot whilst doing this I glance back up at the door... Suddenly I notice that the window panels in the door are fly screen and there's a big hole in the screen... So I can put my hand through the hole, reach around and unlock the door from the other side!!!!! Oh my goodness!!! What an idiot!! I just wasted half an hour searching for a key that I didn't even need!!! Thank goodness I hadn't woken the manager up and I quickly text him again to tell him it was all good! ;-) Needless to say there were a lot of obscenities muttered to myself for the next hour and a half while I rushed through everything so I still finished on time! It was VERY early and I've been unwell... That's the excuse I'm sticking with anyway lol!! ;-) See more

18.01.2022 Sitting in the car at sports training still suffering from Sinusitis and feeling a bit sorry for myself but also managing to multitask and order teal grosgrain ribbon for some custom headband orders... Gotta love technology! ;-)

17.01.2022 So I'm psyching myself up to replace the screen on my iPhone!! :-O Seemed like a better option than paying someone $150+ to do it!! Just waiting until the kids are in bed and then I'll lock the cats and parrot away... hopefully this will avoid complete disaster lol! It should be interesting to say the least! Wish me luck! ;-)

16.01.2022 So here it is... The funniest part of my day! Apparently our Parrot has a fetish for Undies ;-) All I can say is thank goodness they were clean lol!

13.01.2022 Would anyone like to share with me their tips for relieving sinus headaches?! Man I'm suffering at the moment and it makes it very hard to focus on fiddly ribbon lol!

09.01.2022 Each night at the dinner table here in the LRC household my kids take it in turns to ask everyone at the table what the best, worst and funniest parts of their day were... As I'm sure you can imagine we've had some very interesting responses over the years but tonight when I'm asked what the best part of my day was my reply is going to be... 'The silence in the house while all 4 kids were at daycare or school!' Oh the serenity!! :-D After 2 weeks of constant noise over the school holidays I well and truly lapped up that golden silence today ;-) So ladies... What has been the best part of your day today? :-)

07.01.2022 Are school holidays over yet??!! Don't get me wrong I love spending extra time with my kids but the mess... Oh the mess :-O I've officially given up cleaning now until they go back to school next week ;-) And don't get me started on how much they're eating!!! I feel like a catering service!! Hope you're having a great holidays too or if you're over east you're enjoying your serenity and full pantries ;-)

07.01.2022 So I shared with you all the best part of my day earlier, now I'll share the worst (don't worry though I'll share the funniest later too hehehe)... The worst part of my day was waking up with the worst pounding headache ever and after a visit to our little local nursing post discovering that I have full blown sinusitis and 2 ear infections! :-/ The positive though is that at least now I know why I've been feeling so crappy lol! For those who remember me posting about having a sinus headache the other week, one of the suggestions was to visit a 'salt therapy cave'... Has anyone else tried this out for sinus related problems? I have 2 salt tea light candle holders so I have them cranking at the moment with the hope they might help speed up my recovery! ;-)

03.01.2022 For those that were curious how I went with replacing my iPhone screen... SUCCESS!! :-D I'm SO happy as I'd been putting up with a green coloured screen for months and months now! (The LCD had died that's why the screen was green!) It's so beautiful and clear now and I don't have to go and check on the computer anymore to see what my photos look like lol!
