11.01.2022 GOING LIVE AT 4:00pm TODAY!!!! This year we have partnered with a local NFP organisation Homely Retreats to offer our support to Tasmanians in need. Homely Ret...reats offers respite for young Tasmanian families affected by cancer and these two boys have seen their mum go through cancer and know how tough it can be. Homely Retreats offers eligible families a complimentary weekend away to take time out to relax and reconnect. Their entire ethos is based around their hashtag #familytimematters...which you know we love as a family based business! We will be live on Facebook on June 30th (around 4pm) whilst shaving Jack (17) and Max's (10) hair off in the salon to raise money for Homely Retreats. All donations are helpful! Even $5 or $10 can go towards the travel hampers that Homely Retreats provides for clients and their families. Each donation gives you one entry into a raffle to win a $399 'Signature Red Package' at Salon Red valued at $399!!!! With the news announced last night regarding the updated restrictions of 30mins and 4sqm , We are currently developing ways we CAN continue take care of you all NOW and in the FUTURE. 05.01.2022 A MESSAGE TO OUR CLIENTS, WE ARE STILL HERE There is a lot of confusion as a result of mixed messages and lack of clarity regarding the new 2 person rule and restrictions. The hairdressing industry has NOT been paused for now. That rule is designed to stop people from socialising, congregating and generally hanging around with no better place to be. It is NOT designed to prevent people from going about legitimate appointments or activities.... We wish to remind you; We are complying withe 4 sq/m rule for the size of our premises We are practising (and exceeding) the approved health and hygiene messages as distributed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) We are regularly washing hands with hot water and soap and we asked you to do the same upon arrival You are able to come to your appointments without fear of prosecution. However, this isn't an excuse for a day at the shops; it is for a particular purpose-going to have your hair done. We advise caution for our more mature clients, and those with health concerns or if you are in higher risk category. Note; all other COVID-19 recommendations STILL apply.
