25.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone from Vanuatu! Stay safe and happy in 2020, and maybe see you when our gates open April Fools Day!

24.01.2022 Happy Easter from us at the Stockcamp! It was one of firsts and seconds! First time we made chocolate egg filled Johnny Cakes and we had a Second surprise visit from the longest residents at LRS. I think they were sad to go but they’ll always have a reminder from the Stockcamp. They traded in their Toyota Frontier for our Toyota Bull-Catcher!!!

23.01.2022 Little Roper closed early due to these fires. Opening again April fools day. no damage due to our bushfire plan and lots of help.

23.01.2022 The tourist season is starting to get busy, so we trained Alias to man reception! Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!

23.01.2022 You'll always receive priority parking at the Little Roper Stockcamp!

20.01.2022 Giddy up for the Never Never Festival Rodeo on this Saturday!!! Can guarantee it will be more thrilling than watching a frog riding a dung beetle!

19.01.2022 Well as they say, all good things come to an end... Christian and Mez left today to continue their adventures and after 2 months in the Never Never they became family. You might be gone but don’t worry the dough will be perfect - not too wet, not too dry! The Stockcamp will miss you, but we know you’ll be back and camped under the Never Never Tree again soon!!!

18.01.2022 Welcome little friendly parrot to the Little Roper Stockcamp!

17.01.2022 Hi all, it’s with sadness that we have decided to temporarily close Little Roper Stockcamp until 2021. For health reasons and the current uncertainty around COVID and the NT boarders opening, we cannot risk our health. For anyone who already has a booking, you are still welcome to stay, we just won’t be offering dinners or billy tea of a morning. Thanks for your understanding, stay safe everyone!

17.01.2022 Photo in our reception needs an explanation which we have now done thanks to a concerned client! This photo is a "trophy" photo of a police officer with his "catch", our history! My dad used to be an NT Magistrate and proudly had it in his chambers... he would say "If we forget the past we can't improve the future". When he passed away I was lucky enough to have it given to me. I went to school in Alice with Indigenous people, have spent my whole career working with Indigenous mob, as a learner, a co-worker and a boss in later years. I have even had numerous Indigenous bosses. When you visit the NT please don't judge us "white fellows" as rednecks, I have spent my whole life attempting to improve indigenous outcomes.. BUT don't forget our past and some of the past injustices we have inflicted upon the ones who came before us.
