20.01.2022 There are some things that won’t go as planned. Like the shelf you imagined but the wall was too narrow, or the shower head you chose that couldn’t be plumbed. Or moving where the toilet sits, but it all got too hard. And there are some things that will, like only having half the tiles and relying on a second batch arriving from Spain in the midst of a pandemic, and searching high and low for the floor tile you had your heart set on. And the joy when you found it!! Or the in...credibly long wait for it all to come together. And now it’s done. And no one is using it! in case we ruin all of its newness... 07.01.2022 The future is bright! I think we all could do with a bit of bright in our lives post 2020. Yellow is cheerful and positive. If is too much, think Golden yellows, mustard, saffron and warm autumn tones And if painting your wall or door feels like a stretch too far, bedding, cushions, ceramics, removable wallpaper, a rug or wall art in yellow tones are an instant mood lifter. My favourite combo right now is mustard and dusty pink; it’s rich, warm, inviting and grounding. I will share some of my favourite yellow interiors in the coming days

02.01.2022 LILAC, lavender, purple with pink tones, Millennial purple ~ all popular for tranquility, serenity and calm. It might not be your first choice, but can work beautifully. It can be muted with grey, paired with neutrals, a stand out with navy, softened with earthy tones or expressive with other pastels.... Not convinced? I’ll share some examples over the coming days and see if I can convert you!

02.01.2022 PROGRESS it’s great to see these tiles finally making an appearance. 6 months from design plans to implementation, due to everyday life being put on hold. We are the lucky ones, thinking of all our fellow Victorians in complete lockdown at the moment. Stay safe and well x
