25.01.2022 Naidoc Week 2020- Today we kickstarted our learning and celebration with a joined group time with our friends from Chiquitos FDC via zoom. Group time was filled with stories, singalongs, dance and craft to celebrate our aboriginal and indigenous people from our land.

19.01.2022 Today we had some halloween fun with lots of creative activities. We also connected with our friends from Chiquitoes Family Daycare via zoom for halloween themed group time filled with stories, dance, singalongs and craft too!

16.01.2022 Naidoc Week 2020- Part of today's learning was the symbolic meaning of the aboriginal flag colours. Then the children followed on with painting their own aboriginal flags. They all did an amazing job!

14.01.2022 This week we have been learning about bee’s through stories, songs and creative fun activities.

12.01.2022 Today I had the opportunity to attend an art exhibition by the children from Sutherland Shire Community Preschools at Broadhurst Gallery, Hazelhurst Arts Gallery. This exhibition- Early explorers of the elements of art showcased some amazing artworks from many talented preschoolers. I have definitely found this exhibition very inspirational! Highly recommend!

09.01.2022 Today was the perfect day for our bubble snake experiment !

06.01.2022 It’s all about numbers and counting today based on children’s current interest. From our 2yr olds to 4 yr old’s they all share a love for counting at the moment. There was some great learning taking place today with numeracy and some basic maths skills through play!

06.01.2022 'Little Scribblers ' & 'Chiquitos' got together via zoom to celebrate NAIDOC WEEK After so many trials, Lara and I managed to have a perfect zoom group time... ...children were actively engaged. They did dance, listen, participate and even made suggestion how to make 'Tiddalick the Greedy Frog Laugh'... Lara's daycare children and mine have started to talk via zoom introducing themselves during greeting time songs... it has taken Lara and I awhile to reach this far... we both are not computer saavy BUT we are getting there and we both are excited as we are planning xmas activities ahead via zoom... Today the tecnology tools married perfectly so patt to myself and Lara for massive achievement... Thanks Lara!
