(I was too busy enjoying delicious food and love from my hubby and gorgeous boys, and then collapsed on the couch for the rest of the day with the exhaustion that comes from growing a precious small-human!!! 5 weeks to go until the arrival of round three!!)

14.01.2022 I’m back!!! After a year of cancer treatment, pregnancy/birth/newborn and a global health pandemic, this is somewhat of a triumphant return both to stamping in general and to markets! I know everyone is saying it, but WHAT A YEAR 2020 has been!!! (That was ‘Lara’s year in Emoji’s’...just add many many more hospital and needle emoji’s and that would just about round it out, ha ha!) SO...my son, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia just over a year ago is no...w 4, has completed 10 months of intensive chemotherapy and is now fully in remission. My little champion is on maintenance chemo until Nov 2021 when he will finally get to ring a big bell at the hospital and sing an ‘End of Treatment’ song! That will be a glorious day indeed!! So then I also had a beautiful baby GIRL! She was born in the car. Yep, we didn’t quite make it in time to the hospital...born in the car park. And what an unstoppable little almost-6-month old blessing she is!!! So after ALL THAT...come to the market on Sunday, ha ha ha! I would love to see you, share my craft with you, catch some sunshine, smiles and fresh seaside air! KIAMA. 9am - 2pm. THIS SUNDAY!

02.01.2022 Hi! So there’s this thing I do, called metal stamping. It involves hammering individual letters and cute design stamps directly into various metals to create a permanent impression. The letters are then darkened to make them stand out! My favourite thing to stamp on is vintage silverware! Whilst a challenging (not flat!) surface, I love the ornate patterns and that there is a little bit of history behind each piece of antique precious metal! A spoon with this inscription... was the very source of inspiration that started off my whole metal stamping journey in early 2018. I told my husband I wanted to buy a letter set and basic tools for my birthday, and he made me wait a week or two before investing just in case I was buying on a whim. Sure enough I still wanted to buy it after the time had passed, and that was the start of my growing collection of fonts, tools and design stamps...oh, and a large selection of gorgeous vintage silverware!! If you would like to find out more info on how / where you can purchase your own hand stamped piece, please Like my page to follow the journey! Lara
