25.01.2022 So pre covid lockdown 2.0 mum and I went shopping at Ikea. We popped into freedom whilst we were there. I found this one of a kind dough bowl and I had to have it. Isn't she perfect!

25.01.2022 I am a strong believer in physical products. As I was looking for images today I came across a CD full of images of my old horse Pie. I was so excited to find the CD only to realise that neither of my computers has CD drives anymore. Cue the tears. So I called mum and thank goodness her dinosaur computer has a disk drive. Phew. So I put the CD in only to find that it is corrupted.... Those images are gone forever. Those except the ones I had already printed. That is the logical reason out of the way. Then there are the reasons of the heart. The joy creating art brings me to decorate my home and the homes of my clients with beautiful memories in the form of stunning artwork. 19.01.2022 My weight loss journey is only just beginning. I am taking it one step at a time slow and steady. I started at 78kg the heaviest I have ever been. My stats now... 75kg 3kgs lost 9.9cm lost Most importantly my fitness levels have increased! I am proud!

09.01.2022 Today is pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day. A day that this year is particularly painful for me due to a recent loss. My heart is with every parent who has suffered the loss of a baby. I know that no words to relieve that pain but I know that their short time with us left a special handprint on our hearts. A poem by Mary Cathleen... "I never saw your twinkling eyes Or touched your precious feet. I never shared a tiny yawn Or rocked you fast asleep. 07.01.2022 You know those moments of crazy where there is no choice but to laugh at yourself. That was me yesterday. Arizona and I went for my walk. I walk 5km a day at a rather brisk pace. No way she could keep up so I put her in the pram and push her. Except she is too big for her pram so she likes to just sit in the base of the pram with no seat ... A few days ago my car battery died and went to heaven so I have been jump-starting her 8 times a day whilst I run my errands. So we get back to the car after our walk and i put her in her car seat and get out my jump start pack, put the keys in the ignition, pop the bonnet and jump-start my car. So I drive to the supermarket and do my grocery shopping. When we go back to the car to put the groceries in I noticed a little something was missing... I left the pram on the side of the road just sitting there waiting for my dumb self to go back and get it. Please make me feel less silly and tell me you have done something similar

05.01.2022 This must photo will probably go down in history as one of the most unphotogenic images I have ever seen of myself. A photo that was taken on my iPhone. Hat hair, a remnant of my 5km run and hand pushing the lawnmower over my huge backyard followed by getting rained on. Coupled with the double chin I get when I am using my dorky I'm immensely happy grin. You know what I do not care in the slightest because this will go down in history as one of my proudest moments.... When I was pregnant I was desperately hoping for a little girl because there was a higher chance that she would at the very least go through a horsey stage. I swore I would not push her into horses if she wasn't interested but she has been showing more and more interest in them so I decided it was time to give her a go and see if she loves it as much as her mama. Not only did I get to watch my baby take her first steps into the world of riding but I got to watch her love it. I got to listen to her giggle as she trotted around the arena. And I'm gonna be that mum and boast that my kid managed to do a rising trot for a few paces each time she trotted. I don't care how unflattering this photo is. It captures my pure joy.

The anticipation and love just grew as my belly did. And then she arrived. I spent 32 hours straight staring at her. Oh to hold your baby arms a love so strong is formed.... 03.01.2022 This week is national breastfeeding week. I am so grateful for my breastfeeding experience. When Arizona was born she struggled to latch for the first 4 days. I was so stressed that breastfeeding wouldn’t work for me. Finally she got it and we were off and racing. Then the Raynaud's hit! Ouchy blue nipples 24/7 was agonising. I was so grateful we we got over the hurdles. I breast fed for 32 months and it was the best experience of my life.
