16.01.2022 The children have been learning all about bees They have engaged in various provocations for learning by exploring our bee discovery tables. These experiences excite the imagination through exploration and inquiry. Children develop and enhance their fine motor skills and coordination and are exposed to different mathematical concepts such as weight, balance, shapes, patterns and counting. We have also been exploring our insect-friendly gardens, observing bees in their natural habitat. The children are learning how bees carry pollen on their legs, ready to take back to their hives to feed their colony. We have observed bees enjoying the nectar from our plants and have watched videos of how bees turn this nectar into honey

08.01.2022 What a funtastic week we’ve had! The children have had lots of fun exploring our Halloween-themed experiences such as our creepy crawly spaghetti, sensory tub, and various puzzles. We’ve dressed up, danced, had some much needed water play, and also enjoyed some special treats for afternoon tea. Linking to the EYLF Learning Outcomes: Children have a strong sense of identity.... Children have a strong sense of wellbeing. Children are confident and involved learners. Happy Halloween everyone! Don’t eat too many chocolates over the weekend

07.01.2022 Last week we had lots of fun celebrating CBCA Book Week. We enjoyed reading our favourite books and getting dressed up in lots of fun costumes. Benefits of reading books with your children:... Children learn sounds, words and language, and develop early literacy skills. Children learn to value books and stories. Reading books spark your child's imagination and stimulates curiosity. Children develop social skills and communication skills. Encourages brain development.
