25.01.2022 AT LAST!!!!! - just in time for summer...Little Swallow will now be selling local wine and beer. We have created a small but beautiful range of local beers and wines, all given a very rigorous testing!! From the rich and velvety Condie "The Gwen" 2014 shiraz, to the refreshing Brooks "American Pale Ale", there is something for all tastes. We have kept everything VERY local in recognition of the fantastic work that winerys and brewers are doing in the region. So pop down to Little Swallow, and relax with some good food and something lovely to drink!

22.01.2022 After another wonderful and funfilled 12 months, Its time for the Little Swallow team to take a well earned break. We have enjoyed meeting all of our new customers, and further developing relationships with our very supportive regulars. We are looking forward to coming back refreshed and full of new ideas for 2017 and beyond....we will be closed from tomorrow (14th Feb) and will reopen 8am, wednesday 22nd Feb, and we look forward to seeing everyone then.

20.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that Little Swallow will reopen on Tuesday the 29th of September at 8:00am. We have developed our exciting spring menu since being in lockdown and can’t wait to serve it to you. We will be allowed to have 10 people on the ground floor inside and 10 people on the top floor inside. We can have 20 people in our beautiful garden courtyard and 6 people on the Piper Street tables. 19.01.2022 Hi everyone, Little Swallow will be closed for a few days over Christmas (25th,26th,27th) and on New Years Day, but open every day besides these. We will close a little earlier (2pm) Xmas Eve and New Years Eve but the rest of the time will be our usual opening hours of 8am to 4pm, seven days a week (kitchen closes 3pm weekdays). 18.01.2022 Little Swallow Christmas and new year trading hours: Open Tuesday the 22nd. Open Wednesday the 23rd. Open Thursday the 24th. Closed Friday the 25th.... Open Saturday the 26th. Open Sunday the 27th. Closed Monday the 28th. Open Tuesday the 29th. Open Wednesday the 30th. Open Thursday the 31st. Closed Friday the 1st. Normal trading hours resume on Saturday the 2nd January. We trade between 8:00am and 3:00pm with the kitchen closing at 2:00pm. We have had an amazing end to 2020 and we would like to thank everybody for their support and kind words. We are truly overwhelmed and feel honoured to reopen to such a lovely reception from our customers and community. We hope everybody has an incredible Christmas and a great new year. 14.01.2022 Little Swallow Cafe (62 Piper Street Kyneton) will be holding a charity fundraising event on Tuesday the 25th and Wednesday the 26th for RM Begg. The cafe will open at 6:00am and close at 2:00pm both days. 100% of all sales over these two days will be donated to RM Begg. Some of you may not know that due to the current restrictions RM Begg will not be able to hold one of their major fundraising events. We hope that with your support this event will go some of the way to help ...this short fall and support a highly respected charity in Kyneton. On offer for the 2 day period will be coffee, tea, chai, hot chocolate etc. We will also have all the alternative milks available. There will be a simple range of food on offer toasted sandwiches and some or our customers favourite desserts. There will be no pricing structure on the two days and it will be run as a ‘Pay What You Can’ system. We will also be running a raffle over the two days with a lunch for 4 at Little Swallow as the prize to be used sometime after this is over. Tickets for this raffle can be purchased on the days in person or on the days over the phone. So if you would like to support this event but can’t make it to the cafe on Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th please contact us on 0354226702. For ease of operation no cash will be taken on these two days. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our beautiful suppliers, The Tamp Group, 7 Miles Coffee Roasters, Oakwood Smallgoods and Inglenook Dairy for without their donations we could not have run this event. This wonderful amount is the result of the whole community coming together to support a great cause, which Little Swallow is so proud to be associated with. In times as difficult as these, every single person who participated needs to congratulate themselves for having the compassion and genero...sity to do something practical for the community. Recently we have all needed something to smile about, and this is something we can all unashamedly and unreservedly smile about, behind our masks! Over 2500 raffle tickets were sold during the two days, and the winners (Deb and Nereda) have been informed. 02.01.2022 Ah..the carefree summers past!!! But no time like the present to help out a local charity and get great coffee, homemade cakes and takeaway breakfast/lunch. There is also a raffle to win a meal for 4 (with 4 bottles of wine donated by Granite Hills) and a $50 voucher from Miss Maisie. We are in our final day of fundraising for RMBegg, with 100% of our turnover over these two days going to the charity. The amount of support and generosity shown by everyone yesterday was absolutely incredible...the amount raised exceeded all our expectations!!
