15.01.2022 || A LITTLE BILLY GOAT GRUFF || Today the Little Tikes Kinder Crew had their first session with Educator Laura. It ranged from Superhero yoga to Billy Goats Gruff story time.

14.01.2022 || A LITTLE GRASS HEAD || Since planting out our herb garden, the Little Tikes have been interested in the growing process. To extend this interest Educator Mahlee introduced an old favourite into their learning.

13.01.2022 || A LITTLE BEAN BAG DROP || Using loose parts and recycled materials to create their own learning. Popping the bags in the spool, lifting the spool to reveal the bags and then viewing the world through a different lens. Such a simple experience that has a great amount of learning.

10.01.2022 || CHILDRENS WEEK || Colac Otway Children’s Week 2020 looks a little different this year. Instead of a fun filled day at the Gardens a scavenger hunt is running instead. Keep an eye out around our parks, Kinder’s, daycares etc for the hidden symbol to receive a free book. You can also jump on to the below link and participate in a Hunt. 07.01.2022 || A LITTLE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT || An Acknowledgement of Country is an opportunity for our Little Tikes to show respect for our Traditional Owners and the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country. As a collective group each morning we communicate our acknowledgement before starting our morning rhythm. Thankyou to Danielle from DFG DESIGNS for the paintwork on our board.

06.01.2022 || A LITTLE BARE FOOT PLAY || Rarely do our Tikes have shoes on. Today was another bare foot play day with the added bonus of mud at the bottom of our slide. This it the true sense of being grounded and feeling the earth between your toes.
