22.01.2022 Good morning beautiful yogis!!! Just an announcement regarding yoga sessions. Unfortunately (and I`m thinking wisely) due to the dreaded COVID 19, I`ve decide...d to cancel tonight`s session, which was going to be the last for a couple of weeks anyway. Sorry for any inconvenience. As you all know I just LOVE my yoga practice, so until we can get together again (remember, this isn`t going to last forever) I`m planning on a practising a restorative nurturing practice AND meditation. If your worried about COVID 19, don`t forget that yoga is great for the immune system. Fantastic for stress and anxiety. Yoga makes you happy! SO practice at home.....maybe in the backyard. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful Autumn sunshine. Bless you all. Namaste Oh....one more thing, If any of you are going to the supermarket, could you leave a packet of toilet rolls for me. I only have 3 left!!!! Yikes. LOL Stay well yogis xoxo See more

09.01.2022 Hi Yogis Yesterday I had a quick visit to one of my favourite places. Ebb and Flow Wellness Studio in Geelong. The place where I studied and received my certifi...cation as a qualified yoga instructor. I booked in and attended a class. I knew it would be challenging............Di`s classes always are.........but I felt the need to push myself. I was feeling a little blah, stale, stuck. It`s important to recognise these feelings. It`s also important to know that we have the ability to do something about "it". Whatever "IT" may be. Sometimes it`s hard to find the right direction to take. But I encourage you to take a step back and look at things from a different angel. Yes, I was upside down in Di`s class (she just loves inversions and there`s no escape. haha). So, there`s my challenge and there`s my different view!! Thank you Di What I`m trying to say is 1. YOU have an inner strength (I found mine and I know I have an abundance of it if I dig a little deeper) 2. Challenge yourself (It feels amazing and you discover shit about yourself...physically, mentally and emotionally) 3. Never EVER give up. Yoga has taught me sooo many things about myself and every time I practice, even if it`s only for 10 minutes, I feeeel sooooo much better about who I am and the path I`m on. Don`t be scared. Don`t be shy. You can feel amazing. See you on Thursday evening at the Huntly Memorial Hall at 6 pm. And Monday Evening at St. Kilians Hall in McCrae St. at 6 pm Hmmmmm. This was supposed to be a quick little two liner message....hahaha got a little carried away. Namaste Yogis

04.01.2022 FEELING THE EFFECTS OF THE BUSH FIRES???? Hi beautiful souls So........ I`ve been avoiding social media for the past 5 or 6 days. Burying my head in the sand??...? No. Just trying to give my emotions and senses a break from the sadness and utter devastation of the bush fires that have taken lives, destroyed property, killed livestock, our beautiful and unique wild life and Australian bush. Trying to process and work through my emotions at this unbelievably horrific time. Is that selfish??? I don`t think so.....We are all different and therefore, deal with "shit" differently! I feel it`s necessary for your mental and emotional health. We need to step back, regroup, gather ourselves up and focus on what we can do to help our family(fire victims) the innocent souls (our furry friends who didn`t stand a chance) and our magnificent bush-land........unique and pristine ......gone!!!! On Thursday 16th January True Essence Yoga will be holding a special yoga session at the Huntly Memorial Hall at 6 pm. to raise money for the victims of this tragic event. ALL proceeds will be donated all to the Victorian Bushfire Disaster Appeal so 100% of your donation will be directed to communities in need. It doesn't matter if you`re new to yoga or have had little or no experience at all. PLEASE come along and support a very worthy cause. Bring a mat, a cool drink and $15.

04.01.2022 Emily Morris Tayla Morris Melinda Stroud To all my beautiful friends who have kids that may be struggling with the challenges of COVID 19. Stay well. Stay happy. Keep smiling. This won`t last forever.

03.01.2022 If you`ve been thinking about attending a yoga class for a while (I know you`re out there, because I get a lot of inquiries. haha). Or if you`re one of my regul...ar yogis who has a friend, work colleague, partner, neighbour or whatever who is always saying "Yep. I must get to a Yoga class" Well tonight`s the the night! Still some space at St. Kilians Hall. 6 pm Just do it. You won`t be sorry. See more

01.01.2022 Happy first day of summer beautiful yogis!!! I know this isn`t the kind of weather we all expected, but I`m kinda enjoying it! Fresh, crisp smells! The trees ...and grass drinking up the rain. Hearing the rain on the roof!!! Ahhhhhh..........breathe it in! Tonight we`re starting off slowwww. Breath work and gentle stretches (asanas) to help us to release and let go of any tension or stress. Then we`ll create a bit of heat and energy with a Vinyasa flow to help us focus on the present moment. And then Savasana, the icing on the "magic" cake. If you`re new to yoga or haven`t had much experience, we welcome you. Yoga is not a competition. You start where you`re at! Simple. St. Killians Hall in McCrae st. at 6pm.
