We wi...ll be operating with limited staff as some staff are still tending to damage to their homes and not able to get to the Centre. For tomorrow only, we kindly request that you please keep your children home if it is practical to do so or if it is not safe for you to leave home. 23.01.2022 Some of our School Readiness Dandelions have been talking about how Easter is coming up, so Miss Karen heard this children’s interest and incorporated it into today’s school group activity. The Dandelions used Easter eggs and flash cards to play a matching game. Counting the dots on one side of the eggs and matching it to the number written on the other side. Number and word recognition as well as counting are fundamental skills that the School Readiness Dandelions have been ...working on recently and they were so excited to use the eggs in this activity! With Miss Karen’s help, they then added some of their eggs to their special water light. The Dandelions were excited to see them float and sink in the water!

21.01.2022 CENTRE CLOSED TUESDAY 23 MARCH 2021 Unfortunately, the flooding situation in and around South Windsor has worsened over the past 24 hours. As the safety of chi...ldren and staff is our first priority, we have decided to close the Centre on Tuesday. We do not consider that it would be safe to open the centre tomorrow as water levels are rising rapidly and houses around the area continue to be evacuated by SES. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you with any changes. A decision about Wednesday will be made by 3pm tomorrow and families contacted. In the meantime, stay safe everyone!

20.01.2022 Learning practical school readiness skills is one of the highlights of the day here at Little Twinkle. Practicing cutting with scissors and tracing lines can help strengthen finger muscles and help increase dexterity. These are valuable skills that our Little Learners can carry with them into Kindergarten next year.

We would like to employ an amazing Certificate 3 trainee on a PPT basis, with the successful candidate having 7am-6pm availability Monday to Friday, to be able to cover a range of shifts. 01.01.2022 At our little child care centre Little Twinkle in South Windsor NSW Australia. Our school group have been learning about the International Space Station which... we absolutely love. Today we wanted to recognise Ivan Vagners birthday. On the way to work I stopped at a tiny cake shop called Keep It Short and Sweet and brought Ivan a vanilla bean cupcake. When I got to work the children were so excited to sing Ivan Happy Birthday . We feel in the school group it is important to learn about our astronauts that are doing amazing things for us on earth.While they are away up in the Space Station they are spending time away from their families. We thought that Ivan would really love and appreciate hearing our amazing voices from Australia and that we are happy learning about him on his special day. Also some of our amazing children also did some special drawings for Ivan to continue celebrating his birthday through out the day. 01.01.2022 Some of our little learners have been showing a lot of interest in counting and number recognition lately, and our amazing Miss Karen has put together cute little take home packs for them to continue this interest. Our little learners will be able to practice number recognition, one to one correspondence and counting at home with their families. How awesome is that!!!! Thankyou Miss Karen!!
