19.01.2022 Introducing our brand new little girl Ioulia Anna (pronounced ee-you-lia) she came into the world last night just making it into July, at a fast and furious pace! We have a feeling she is going to take on the world a bit like the way she came into it!! It's been a funny time giving birth in the middle of a pandemic, we miss our family and friends terribly, but feel so much love and support surrounding us. We cant wait til our little George gets to meet his baby sis!

19.01.2022 Fluffy natural looking Microbladed brows!! This is the final step, getting rid of any pigment on the skin and seeing the end result is always exciting! They do shrink and fade to a more natural brow in the weeks following the touch up.

17.01.2022 WHAT??? Im scrolling thru insta and I came across these photos of Megan Fox with the caption "Megan Fox's stunning transformation"... STUNNING TRANSFORMATION???? WTF? The photos are taken 14 years apart and she looks gorgeous in both of them but what's with this horrendous caption from this site?? A site that advertises as a place for women to read about health, style and other "women friendly" reading matter No wonder women are always under so much pressure to look and be a certain way.

16.01.2022 After not seeing my family for 11months due to Covid and border closures, I was reunited last week with my beautiful Mum and beautiful Sis and they got to meet Ioulia for the first time!!!! George and Ioulia were beyond excited and after about 5minutes it was like I had seen them yesterday but with an even stronger appreciation for family, unconditional love and a bond which distance and time can not break Thinking of all our family and friends who are still separated from their loved ones and knowing that your time together will come soon too

16.01.2022 WOOOOHOOOO IM TAKING BOOKINGS AGAIN!!!! Ive missed you all so much and cant wait to see you all and your bushy brows! Please be patient with me while I navigate our new ways! I need to space out the appointments which means I can't fit in as many clients in the one day. I also need to fit in my exisiting clients that had their appointments cancelled when we went into lockdown before I can take on any new clients.... Please send me a text 0415687121 even if you are a new client so I can put you on the waitlist for any cancellations. There will be some strict procedures that we will all need to follow in order to keep us all safe and healthy. I will be sending you a link to an online form a few days before your appointment which needs to be filled out and submitted to me before you come in. No children or friends allowed into the treatment room with you, i know this is totally inconvenient and i hate it, but it's just temporary until we get past this crap stage. Temperature checks will be done before treatment. Please wash your hands in the bathroom before your treatment, hand sanitiser will also be available. Face masks to be worn during your treatment by both you and I!! I will be keeping all surfaces sanitised between clients and minimising my contact. 15.01.2022 Lets talk Brow hair growth patterns!! There are 2 main brow patterns i see in the salon. The Asian brow and the European brow. Typically Asian brow hair grows downwards and the European upwards and across and often I see a combination of the two!... They both require a completely different approach to shaping them, if you have the combination of patterns you need to use a bit of both! The Asian brow needs trimming from the underneath (see arrow in the first pic) to create the shape by carefully following the natural curve of the brow. Then waxing away the unwanted hair top and bottom. This will create a beautiful natural brow shape as seen on this gorgeous client! Overshaping isnt necessary, or cool! 11.01.2022 IM BACKKKKKK!!!! Yesterday was my first day back after being on pause for 10 weeks!!! It was SOOOO exciting to see some of my amazing clients who have supported and stuck by me! I wanted to hug everyone so badly but we did elbow bumps instead I was pleasantly surprised by how well they had all done maintaining or rather, ... NOT stuffing up their eyebrows!! They had all done a brilliant job of just tidying them where needed and Im pleased to say there were NO hack jobs!! Absolutely no judgement if you have hacked your brows in iso, i will rescue them i promise! So here are a handful of some of the before and after iso brows I saw yesterday. Just to add that some of these brows had grown in sections that werent growing before so there is alot of value in leaving your eyebrows alone to do their thing! 09.01.2022 CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF LITTLE WAX ROOM!!! Those of you who know me know Im powered by Green tea so I felt this awkward shot of me drinking a very full and hot cup of it was a great way to mark 10 years... ...even though Im sitting on the couch breastfeeding my nearly 4month old and cant drink a hot beverage! The last 10 years have been full of wonderful people who have supported me and my little business which then supports me and my little family. ... Little wax room has allowed me to take time off twice to have my babies and then work the hours Ive needed to in order to look after them. It sounds insignificant but it is such a big deal to someone with a small business and I will forever be grateful to all of you. Thank you for being patient while I look after the newest addition to our world.
